A very determined stride. My first attempt at a post form my I-Pad. Did not bring a computer with me on this outing.
Your Ghost - Kristin Hersh
If I walk down this hallway
Tonight it's too quiet
So I pad through the dark
And call you on the phone
Push your old numbers
And let your house ring
'Til I wake your ghost
Let him walk down your hallway
It's not this quiet
Slide down your receiver
Sprint across the wire
Follow my number
Slide into my hand
It's the blaze across my nightgown
It's the phone's ring
I think last night
You were driving circles around me
I think last night
You were driving circles around me
I think last night
You were driving circles around me
I can't drink this coffee
'Til I put you in my closet
Let him shoot me down
Let him call me off
I take it from his whisper
You're not that tough
It's the blaze across my nightgown
It's the phone's ring
You were in my dream (I think last night)
You were driving circles around me
"If I walk down this hallway, tonight,
It's too quiet,
So I pad through the dark
and call you on the phone
Push your old numbers
and let your house ring
til I wake you ghost.
[...]
I think last night
you were driving circles around me."

Still struggling to upload to Flickr from my new I Mac. I thought I had it figured out by using my I Pad to upload but tonight that would not work. Some how through using airdrop and a download I did upload this shot taken a few years ago on a day trip from a cruise ship. This just happened to be a shot I was experimenting with. Now I have to figure out exactly what I did. Thanks to Carol for the ID.

I think I saw this idea for using the i-pad for light painting on a Facebook post by Cooph. This place has the coolest ideas if you have never heard of it check it out.
In medieval times the village of Lavenham in Suffolk was one of the richest in England. It thrived on the wool trade in the 15th and 16th centuries when local merchants became very wealthy.
One the ways they could show their wealth was in the building of houses which .has resulted in the village having many half timbered properties that have stood the test of time over many centuries. There are over 200 grade 1 and grade 2 listed structures in the village today.
This house, known as Cordwainers, dates from circa 15th century and is located in the High Street. It is a timber frame and plastered building with grade 2 listed protection. In the past it was the One Bell Inn but is now a private house. I particularly like the different shapes and sizes of the timber beams, the colour of the plasterwork and the blocked up doorway on the right. A magnificent property!

This image was taken at the park we have been staying, in Corpus Christi TX. I took this sunset with my I pad's photo booth, was just playing around and liked the mirror effect.
Thank you all for visiting, kind comments and faves, I really appreciate it.
Hope everyone has a beautiful day. The sun is out and it looks like spring is here.
Thank you for your favs, comments and invites.
Oh, I felt so clever this morning when I used blue LED lights to illuminate these marbles but when I went to edit let's just say it proved to be more problematic that I anticipated. Also, I discovered this morning I somehow messed up my 50mm lens again, it won't focus - feeling a little blue about that :/.
I used my 85mm lens with my 36mm extension tube. The marbles are sitting on an I-pad. Happy Macro Monday - thanks for viewing my image.

Double exposure for Macro Monday January 8, 2018.
The original photos were taken with a Canon Rebel T5i using a Sigma macro lens. Those original photos were combined using the Apple I-Pad "Fused" app.

Thank you for all the views, faves, and comments!
At the pond where this was taken these tiny frogs would quickly scoot under the water – this one with a zoom lens gave me the opportunity to capture it. I wanted so bad for it to sit on the lily pad, but then with it partially submerged I actually thought it worked nicer as it shows the hidden world of the pond life.
Other i pads are available!!
43186 in advertising livery 'HP Elite Pad' passes Norton Barracks at 12.45 on the 29th July 2013 working 1W02 from Paddington to Hereford and running 7 minutes late.
A real mess but a first attempt. I'd been looking at a lot of work by David Hockney who draws on his i Phone and i Pod.
Snowed in today...... I have been doing a lot of shovelling, but today I waited for the plough. There are several warnings in place for the next 24 hours, including Blizzard, Extreme Cold Alert, Snowsqualls...etc
I am still not ready to do much on Flickr...just too tired with all the shovelling...and a whole lot of changes in my life since my husband died in late October... ( there was a snowstornon the day of the funeral, 28 Oct...some of our Toronto friends had to turn back.... ) however, we are ALL snowed in today...schools closed, highway closed etc...so perhaps I will have a look at some of my contacts' photos, but commenting is not easy on the I Pad...so perhaps I will just add some Fave Stars. Evening was usually my commenting on Flickr pics time...these evenings I am brain dead, and I look for some mindless distractions.
52 years with a good husband...I must not complain...I was very lucky. ....but the change is profound.
Christmas around here was full of surprises... I was suppposed to drive to Torornto, to spend the time with family...as my daughter's house is ( still ) being renovated, ( no kitchen for Christmas...) plans were to join her in-laws for the day...but the in-laws had no power for four days ( Toronto's BIG ice storm...some people had no power for well over a week...) ...so THEY went to their other son's in Ottawa...and the rest of my family came here, at the last minute. We managed well, with what they brought, and the wonderful invitation of nearby friends to join them. We were a happy party of twelve at dinner.... a scant twenty-four hours after plans had to be changed...... we were very fortunate .
PS.... Monday evening...I will try to find some time to comment tomorrow during the day... On my desktop computer... trying to do any on my old IPad is just too slow and frustrating.
the wind is very wild tonight....and we are going to be snowed in again tomorrow.
I wish all of you a Happy New Year.... ...with enough food, warmth, health, family, and peace...and I thank you for letting me view parts of your lives.
I viewed this from my scooter motorcycle. Cars don’t move then but I do also obviously photography and then it takes off from Bike Path into the woods of the forest. Minimal snow on the ground.
Below a closer view into the forest…

21 Tage lang tausche ich für mein persönliches (Urlaubs-) Projekt: #Loveletters to my everyday
For my personal (holiday) project:
#Loveletters to my everyday
I exchange my Canon EOS 1000D against the I-Pad Air for 21 days. I hope to get my focus on image composition through the I-Pad's wide-angle fixed focal length, as I have to pay much more attention to balancing light and shadow, guide lines and interesting foregrounds to obtain shots with spatial depth.
Ahhhh! Santa's on his way...and over on the blog we're celebrating Christmas:
Have a good one everybody!
Cape Leveque is fabulous for its endless pristine white sandy beaches and its golden red cliffs. (This picture was taken by my friend on July 20, 2013,with an i pad)
Hi everyone and hope all are well. Tonight I was going through some of my images which I haven't done in a while. I took this last year on New Years Eve down in Cold Springs N.Y. with the Hudson River in the background. Wanted to give it a Nostalgic old fashioned feel. I posted something similar last year but my son said it needed color so i gave it texture and balanced the color to bring out the dusk sky and and green cliffs out.
This image helped me t think back to when Christmas was simple,no computers, cell phones, cable TV,video games,I-Pads,etc... Sleigh rides, snow ball fights, hot cocoa were a must and going to see Santa at the local H.L. Greens located in down town Yonkers,N.Y. were a must! Family and friends getting together for a meal that mom took all day and the night before to make,Dad playing the harmonica, kids excited and of course the simplest of gifts! Those are the Christmas's I remember simple yet perfect in it's own sense. So figured its 21 days till Christmas why not get things started!
A song to go along with it. Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas by the great Frank Sinatra

The "Trapped Nerve" series continues:
My comments yesterday about Diazepam not making me drowsy may have been premature.
I woke this morning a little after 4 o'clock and as usual prepared to take a sew shots of the sunrise. As it turns out the moon was still visible but the sunrise was uninteresting.
so while waiting for the colours to appear I took this shot in the mirror.
OK 05:30 breakfast and painkillers - read the news on the I-pad and relaxed in a chair - next thing its 18:30 and my mother in law is asking if I am preparing any food tonight.
It feels like I have been robbed of a day.
The image reflects how I feel - a bit "groggy".
( Grogginess is just sleep inertia, which is a normal part of the waking process. Your brain typically doesn't instantly wake up after sleeping. It transitions gradually to a wakeful state. During this transition period, you may feel groggy or disoriented).

the gardens of Heligan were lost around the time of WW1 and were rediscovered in the 1990s - without me using Wickipedia and with you using your imagination you'll understand how this could have happened.
The gardens, as far as we are concerned, are still pretty much lost - the county council has a policy that only 5 road signs can be used to advertise where an attraction/garden etc is and Heligan is signposted off the main roads and then it is serendipitous, because if you are travelling from St Ives like we were you really have to have done a lot of homework and passed at least elementary geography to find it at all . . . unless of course you have a satnav, which we don't.
