This Osteospermum/African Daisy was photographed in the early light before it had fully opened for the day. It stands 1 1/4 inch high and has a diameter of 1 1/2 inch.

"Macro Mondays" and "iSpy"

Zum heutigen Thema hatte ich die Auswahl zwischen "A wie Amonit" "O Ohrstöpsel von einem Hörgerät" bis "A wie Auge von einem Teddy" und insgesamt 178 Fotos, das heißt die Qual der Wahl. Schlussendlich habe ich mich für die Pfefferminze die ein intensives Aroma verströmte und dem kleinen Anhänger, ein Geburtstagsgeschenk von meinem Ehegatten, entschieden.

Ich wünsche Euch einen erfolgreichen Tag und eine heitere Woche, liebe Freunde.

For today's theme, I had the choice between "A for amonite", "O earplugs from a hearing aid" and "A for eye from a teddy" and a total of 178 photos, which means I was spoilt for choice. In the end I decided on the peppermint which gave off an intense aroma and the little pendant, a birthday present from my spouse.

Pour le thème d'aujourd'hui, j'avais le choix entre "A like amonite", "O earplugs from a hearing aid" et "A like eye from a teddy", soit un total de 178 photos, ce qui signifie l'agonie du choix. J'ai finalement choisi la menthe poivrée qui dégageait un arôme intense et le petit pendentif, cadeau d'anniversaire de mon conjoint.

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !

Today is a red day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Macro Mondays is "iSpy with my little eye » and we will have to find something to photograph that either begins with a letter A, E, I, O or U.

After a very long process of decision taking, I decided to go with the letter E. so then, I had to find something that begins with a letter E …. hmmm what begins with a letter E ???? Lets see…. Just kidding my friends : of course my subject of predilection is an Egg !! E like egg or egg shell.

And since this is an egg friendly photostream, lets celebrate this awesome theme with an egg picture.

And who loves eggs almost as much as I do ? Red Lady of course. She has always some hard boiled eggs in her purse (just like my grand-mother did during my childhood). The beauty of a hard boiled egg is the fact that it is a super food, and you can survive several hours (or even a day or two for the more resistant people) just on one egg ! Of course if you are like Red Lady, your purse is full of snacks, so you can organize a true very classy and tasty picnic in no time ;-).

For this week's Macro Mondays theme "iSpy" (a subject beginning with A, E, I, O or U). I chose I (insect).

Nature constantly surprises me. I got up early this morning, brought a camera and a chair, sat down next to a lavender bush to take a picture of some insect. I took some nice pictures and headed to the house to pick a picture for MM. On the wall next to the front door, I saw this small (1cm), inconspicuous moth, and out of habit, I took a picture of him. When I saw him on the screen, the first thing I thought was ‘what luck that he is so small and I didn’t see his head because I would have run away for sure’. I called him Mr. Lizard's Head.

The iSpy Challenge brought a lot of Fun. I did have plenty of ideas how to crate my contribution. In the end i decided to let it go for some Apple EarPods. As you might know the little helpers in little world are huge fans of music. So much that one of them started to give a little solo concert with his saxophone playing this great Song called "Lily was here". :)
