The day we left for our time away on Vancouver Island, there was a huge windstorm. We knew the first two ferries of the morning had been cancelled but were hopeful that ours would still be sailing. We were almost at the ferry, when I got the call saying our sailing had been cancelled. The car was packed. So we had to turn around and go home. I immediately made a reservation for the next day, and I was lucky, because two hours later every sailing the next day was full. So we had to unpack the car and pack it again the next morning. As we left a day late, we also came back a day later, but had a wonderful time seeing family. But I didn't get a chance to do any photography...oh well!

Some pictures make my mind very active and with this one my mind got even in overdrive. I see a being ready for a race in the style of the Flintstones, so with footwork instead of tires.

But actually it is a small plastic crate with some metal junk placed on a branch of a tree.
