Urquhart Castle (/ˈɜːrkərt/; Scottish Gaelic: Caisteal na Sròine) is a ruined castle that sits beside Loch Ness in the Highlands of Scotland.
The first documentary record of Urquhart Castle occurs in 1296 when it was captured by Edward I of England. When James VII was deposed in the Revolution of 1688, Ludovic Grant of Freuchie sided with William of Orange and garrisoned the castle with 200 of his own soldiers. Though lacking weapons they were well-provisioned and, when a force of 500 Jacobites (supporters of the exiled James) laid siege, the garrison was able to hold out until after the defeat of the main Jacobite force at Cromdale in May 1690. When the soldiers finally left they blew up the gatehouse to prevent the reoccupation of the castle by the Jacobites. Large blocks of collapsed masonry are still visible beside the remains of the gatehouse.

As soon as we arrived at the Seed Barn, Bobby the warehouse cat took over an inspection of the car, looking for miscreant rodents!
Every time I see this canoe, it makes me think of Dean, who lives and breathes canoeing. This particular one is a special edition finished in the Hudsons Bay colors. It would be great to see on the water instead of as a store prop.
We noticed this fun letterbox last time we went to Caboolture to see my Mother-in-Law, in fact it's on the road west to Wamuran where we go to buy bulk bird seed for "you know who"! Then I forgot the camera so this is just a phone shot (sorry to all the phone camera people)!
The letterbox itself is just a slot but the whole thing is really the letterbox. The Aussie Inis has some sort of Christmas shirt this time and you will notice the pineapple for which the whole shrinking local agricultural district is known for.
Looks like the Ibis likes Dinosaurs, I suspect they even hark back to dinosaurs themselves.
