Sunset over Bodmin Moor, taken from the Cheesewring, Stowe's Hill, Cornwall, a very, very unusual hill/tor with incredible natural rock formations, it feels like it should be more at home in Australia....in fact it reminded me of the film 'Picnic at Hanging Rock'. First time I've tried a Panorama with the Ollocip Telephoto add on lens....Manfrotto Tripod, Olloclip Telephoto Lens, Hisy remote, finely balanced in 'Photos' on iMac and Snapseed on iPad Pro.

The ground floor hallway in Woodchester Mansion (nr. Stroud), a 19th Century Victorian Gothic Masterpiece mysteriously abandoned mid-construction in 1873. This staircase 'window' is one of my favourite parts of the mansion.....it really does look as if it belongs in Umbria, Italy, or similar. Hidden in a secluded Cotswold valley, it is untouched by time and the modern world. This Grade 1 Listed Building has been saved from dereliction, but will never be completed. The carvings in Woodchester Mansion are among the finest of their kind in the World. A wonderful place to visit as you can see quite clearly in places how it was built.....a stunning and unusual building indeed!! Manfrotto Tripod, Hisy remote, remodelled in 'Photos' on iMac and Snapseed on iPad Pro.

Gray day at Starnberger Lake, Munich area, while traveling for work. Hoped the sky would clear before I had to leave, but no. For this photo, only the horizon cleared and it was to far away, in the Alps ...

I went on an overnight micro adventure starting from my home town, first paddling down the Mahurangi River in a packraft and then following the coast north along Kawau Bay and Omaha Bay alternating walking where possible and packrafting. I reached this little cove on foot coming from the right and paused for a while to think how I could exit the cove on the left. I left my hiking poles where I turned back trying to negotiate a narrow crumbling sandstone ledge with my pack scraping the overhanging rocks. Carrying a raft, paddle and lifejacket along with camping gear I decided to leave my camera behind and make do with an iphone.

iPhone 11 Panorama
On the Washington State side of the Columbia River, about halfway between Longview and Long Beach. Spent two days here for a wedding on a nearby island, and also spent an excellent day of back road driving that included crossing the Columbia River on a small ferry boat.
