Of all the ICMs I took to date, this may be my favourite. My challenge is to repeat the movement I did to obtain this result.
The colour version is superb, but this black and white version is spectacular!
While on a bicycle ride yesterday in the New Forest I saw this, a small stream of crystal clear water, the colour of the stream bed was captivating, an entish draught if ever there was. Handheld iPhone shot.
The gold-colored lights contrast well with the blue, cloudy sky.

It is a dog's life !! Having a rest in the pedestrian high street in Gstaad.
These are St Bernard mountain rescue dogs in many cases but these particular pair having a rest in the luxury location might just be expensive pets, I am not sure. But very friendly and not enjoying the heat of summer for certain.
St Bernard dogs are often seen up in the tourists spots like the mountain part of Gornergrat in Zermatt. They are paid for photo - opportunities for the tourists taking selfies and portraits, usually with a small barrel around their dog's collar for authentic effect in the snow.!!
Quote from Wikipedia :-
The St. Bernard or Saint Bernard (UK: /ˈbɜːrnərd/, US: /bərˈnɑːrd/) is a breed of very large working dog from the Western Alps in Italy and Switzerland.[3] They were originally bred for rescue work by the hospice of the Great St Bernard Pass on the Italian-Swiss border.[4][5] The hospice, built by and named after the Alpine monk Saint Bernard of Menthon, acquired its first dogs between 1660 and 1670.[4] The breed has become famous through tales of Alpine rescues, as well as for its large size and gentle temperament.

It turns out that iPhones are phenomenal at catching many of the subtleties of the aurora borealis. I lacked a tripod for my iPhone 15 Pro Max at its ultrawidest, so I rested it on my car's roof to steady it.
