This place is beside the North-south railway in Taichung City, Taiwan. We can see it by taking a train. There are many houses at the right part of the real place. In order to make the best scene, I didn't paint them. I think those houses couldn't help this work. Hope you like this work!

Work for group "Hand Held Art" contest. ( ArtRage2, on iPad4 )
This is a Chinese word "善", which means virtue in English. I paint this with Chinese calligraphy style that I can participate this month's contest in group "Hand Held Art". (The subject of May is "TEXT as an ELEMENT".)
The calligraphy style is from Wang Xizhi's ( one of the calligraphy master in ancient Chinese dynasty "Dong Jin". ), and you can find the original image here:http://shufa.guoxuedashi.com/5584/870279.html

it's been a very long time since I had a chance to potter in my virtual shed; so given my girls are away for the weekend with an ace auntie and the boss is away out with friends, i managed to get the energy to fire up the camera and try out something i have wanted to shoot for a while now (at least that's one shot off of the 'ideas' list!)
I seem to remember a contact of mine, a couple of years back, may have posted the same shot but i have been unable to trace it? thanks for the inspiration whoever you were and i have a few more ideas to try in a similar vein ... someday! :o)

As you can see our Christmas tree makes a lovely backdrop for my ugly mug lol.
This is the first of three pictures I am taking which include an Ipad, when I take the next two I will post all three on my blog with a write up on how I took each one.
This is probably the hardest picture I've taken for a while, will tell all on my blog.

This is a color version of a study I made time ago in B/W. Done on iPad4 with Inspire Pro 2.0 (beta). The update to this version is available now.-New and amazing features coming along with this new Inspire Pro.
Also, I´ll be painting live and giving advices on ipad art in Kiwipixel booth at MacWorld (San Francisco) next weekend. I´ll be so happy if any of you come to visit

Kaleidospace is an homage to '2001: A Space Odyssey'. It is about entering a new dimension, another space beyond the rational, beyond the obvious things. Imagine being transformed, confused and squeezed by a black hole which ejects you to an alternative universe.
This video is the result of a collaboration between Vanessa Vox (film and editing) and Orlando Bay (music).
I (Vanessa) had the opportunity to use the beta version of a wholly new app called Luma Fusion which enabled complex layering and effects on my iPad4. This video editing app breaks the barriers of the usual and opens a new state of the art on mobile phones and tablets.
