Buenos Aires, 27 de Marzo de 2014 - La Secretaría de Cultura de la Presidencia de la Nación, a través del Instituto Nacional de Estudios de Teatro (INET) y el Plan Nacional de Promoción del Tango, realizaron el espectáculo “Cuando el tango era teatro”. La presentación estuvo a cargo de la directora del INET, María Cristina Lastra Belgrano.
Esta actividad se realizó como parte de la celebración del Día Mundial del Teatro, el 27 de marzo, en la Sala Trinidad Guevara, del Teatro Nacional Cervantes.

A team of engineers from the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency/JAXA and industrial partner NEC and INET are at ESOC this week to install the combined BepiColombo radio-frequency (RF) simulator at ESA's Ground Segment Reference Facility The facility is basically a laboratory that faithfully replicates the ground segment for any mission.
The simulator is a faithful representation -- in software and hardware -- of JAXA's Mercury Magnetospheric Orbiter (MMO), the Japanese half of the joint ESA/JAXA mission; ESA is contributing the Mercury Transfer Module (MTM) and the Mercury Planetary Orbiter (MPO).
The JAXA MMO simulator interfaces with ESA's ground station equipment to enable radio-frequency compatibility testing between MMO and Estrack ground stations, as well as definition of how ESA's ground stations will communicate with the MMO.
Conversely, JAXA ground stations will support the ESA module and orbiter (and so an ESA-supplied RF simulator will be installed at a JAXA facility in the future, about one year before launch). The plan to provide joint ground tracking of each other's spacecraft by both agencies' ground stations gives a unique, international flavour to this ambitious mission.

I installed this tiny WiFi router in the garage this weekend to improve the connection for my solar inverters. It's a Gl.iNet GL-AR300M and comes with OpenWrt pre-installed, so it's actually secure
Shiba Inu Hiro (23 weeks) thinks he is a tornado after one his mandatory "Shiba 500"s (typical to the breed). FKC reg. Daitan, ER44034/08. I can't keep decent paper yarn rugs on the floor (yet) because he would eat them. This crazyness started right after he got back in after a long walk (typical to many Shiba Inus). Many Shiba's are also very picky about their meals. Hiro seldom eats the same food twice during a week. This time he preferred the rug instead of his meal.
Shiba Inu is the most primitive, least domesticated breed, not subservient and not for the faint of the heart. They are very intelligent and cunning and often misbehave to make a point. Hiro is actually a very well behaving Shiba Inu, doesn't chew furniture or do any damage when he is alone, he is mostly calm and he doesn't even mind getting his nails clipped unlike many Shibas.

Shiba Inu Hiro (FKC reg. Kitsune no Daitan, ER44034/08) snooping his favourite dry food. He has expensive taste, only super premium quality Bozita Robur seems to be good enough for him. First he eats raw meat and other fresh stuff from his cup. Then he carefully separates Robur kibble from Purina Pro Plan (that I usually mix with Robur) and eats it first.

Shiba Inu Hiro (FKC reg. Daitan, ER44034/08) decided to decorate my brand new condo right after we moved in when he was a puppy. I documented the damages before they are fixed later this week, nowadays he doesn't chew anything that he shouldn't.
Shiba Inu Hiro's (FKC reg. Kitsune no Daitan, ER44034/08) hip x-ray, a part of his standard health examinations (possibly reversed when I took the photo). This one wasn't as good as it should have been so a new one was taken for FKC and I got this one.
He got excellent results. His knees were 0/0 (both knees normal). Hip and elbow results came from FKC and are FCI A/A (both hips normal) and 0/0 (both elbows normal). His eyes were examined later and both are normal and healthy as well (ECVO & FKC).
"A: No signs of hip dysplasia. The femoral head and the acetabulum are congruent. The craniolateral rim appears sharp and slightly rounded. The joint space is narrow and even. The acetabular angle according to Norberg (adapted for Pos.I) is about 105° (as a reference). In exellent hip joints the craniolateral rimen circles the femoral head somewhat more in laterocaudal direction." --FCI HD classification, Dortmund 14.6.1991

Doesn't he look innocent? Actually he was just going to take a nap after admiring himself in front of the closet's mirror doors as he likes to do. Normally he just laughs and looks cunning when he does something (usually costly to fix or replace -- this morning he drilled a small hole into a concrete wall...) that he shouldn't be doing and manages to piss me off. Only those who know the Shiba Inu can understand what these unique animals are capable of when the primitive little demons dwelling inside them suddenly awaken, they turn into misbehaving furious balls of fire and pretend not to hear anything their owners yell at them. Still, I couldn't imagine living with any commonplace breed instead of a pureblooded Shiba Inu.
