Invergarry park dates to 1913, when the Surrey Municipality began consolidating land for the conservation of the Bon Accord ravine and creek system. Today, the park protects over 37.5 hectares of significant natural forest and riparian creek habitat.
Invergarry Mountain Bike Park
The eastern part of the park has been designated as a Mountain Bike Park. Access from Wallace Drive and Surrey Road from this point, there are many bike trails running north. A network of trails offer about 50 to 100 feet vertical, including a number of gap jumps, with a few sections of multiple jumps in a row.

I'm enjoying my iPhone 5 - it's so good to be actually able to hear people - my old one was so quiet, I couldn't have a conversation except in a completely quiet room! The only problem with it is that the iMessage and text-sending isn't working ("waiting for activation" - aren't we all?!). It's a really common problem, apparently, and I may take it into the Apple Store in Bath on Monday, to see if they can sort it out for me.
The phone calls from Olive started at 8.15 am, as usual, this morning, so although I had a bit of a lie-in, I couldn't really rest after that. I got the shopping done, as well as some for Pete, and took his round. He was just going out with his brother, which he'd phoned me about yesterday. Then after lunch I started work on the minutes from Tuesday's meeting. Got the first draft done, but I'll need to check it through with fresh eyes before getting others to check it.

We crashed the Denny's party last night (yes, like the restaurant) where they debuted their new fall menu. Delicious little cheesecake milkshakes, little slider burgers, nachos with bacon, mini pancake desert things and Free Beers (which, sadly, did not make the 08 menu)... anyway, kind of the bestest party ever.

The Roundhouse is a building of major historical significance to the City of Vancouver, both from an architectural and a social perspective.
A centre for community cultural development as well as recreation for all ages, the Roundhouse features a black box Performance Centre, exhibition hall, woodworking, pottery and dance studios, full size gymnasium, café area, and various multi-purpose spaces. On top of stunning architecture and design, the community centre is proud to house Engine 374, which pulled the first passenger train to enter Vancouver on May 23, 1887.
