The Hyundai ix35 Fuel Cell is one of the first hydrogen-fuelled cars on the market. Some 250 are on the road in Europe for testing in daily use.
I used the partyware as inspiration for this *original design* of an iCarly birthday cake for two girls, ages 6 and 4. All fondant decorations except the computer, which is gumpaste; the little deco's on the computer screen were rolled out of tiny pieces of gumpaste too. Nov 2010 update - I am getting such a kick out of this cake. It was an original design and I've already seen at least 5 copycat cakes since I posted it in March. I love that! After utilizing so many others' cakes for inspiration, I finally came up with a cake OTHERS want to copy :-).
Lots of ID cues on the car's exterior but then the ( handsome) extra driving lights have been added and the rattly rear window blind. Still that's Parisiens for you..:-}
As an afterthought I was expecting the white bound steering wheel but maybe it has power steering. To the books! To the books!!
La casa, con las luces del techo (la del ascensor y la que está encima de la ventana) y un par de lámparas conectadas a los enchufes para comprobar que todo está en su sitio. Falta la puerta del ascensor, las viguetas y los elementos decorativos para considerar terminada la planta de arriba. Pronto comenzaré la de abajo.

Y entonces llegaron unos visitantes extraños... XD
Al final le puse un segundo escalón, pensaba que me iba a quitar espacio, pero no, queda mucho mejor y más fiel al escenario de iCarly. Ahora tienen escalones donde sentarse.
Domo verde, Domo marrón, los tres Kewpies, Copérnico el Chihuahua gigante, Ami y Jayden celebrando que ya falta poco para terminar el piso de arriba y que hoy 1 de diciembre es mi cumpleaños ^________^
También puse el muro delante de la ventana, así que ahora lo único que falta oficialmente es la puerta del ascensor y los objetos decorativos.
