I must've died and gone to heaven

Cos it was a quarter past eleven

On a Saturday in 1999

Right across from where I'm standing

On the dance floor she was landing

It was clear that she was from another time

Like some baby Barbarella

With the stars as her umbrella

She asked me if I'd like to magnetise

Do I have to go star-trekking

Cos it's you I should be checking

So she lazer beamed me with her cosmic eyes

She's just a cosmic girl

From another galaxy

My heart's at zero gravity

She's from a cosmic world

Putting me in ecstasy

Transmitting on my frequency

She's cosmic

I'm scanning all my radars

We'll she said she's from a quasar

Forty thousand million light years away

It's a distant solar system

I tried to phone but they don't list 'em

So I asked her for a number all the same

She said, step in my transporter

So I can teleport ya

All around my heavenly body

This could be a close encounter

I should take care not to flounder

Sends me into hyperspace, when I see her pretty face

Can waterfalls be transported through space and time?

Of course, for me it does ,

With PS - Hyperspace jumpers ;-)))

But what's on the other side ......

Happy Slider Sunday, everyone !!

Thanks for look at my photo, much appreciated!

The floor panels are always so cold in hyperspace, she shivers as a chemical is released simulating goosebumps on her synthetic skin starting at her tailbone traveling up her spine. The stubble at the back of her skull prickles outward in a chain reaction that is produced for no reason other then to emulate human nature.

Flit wonders why she was built so much like them, why they cared that she was warm and knew all of the star wars references. One day she would even find herself contemplating her very existence while tinkering with the small Bir-D Bot toy she was given to keep her entertained in her quarters.

Number 7 in a series of images where I took exclusively Pano-Sabotaged images and subjected them to extreme mirroring in Affinity. The more points you ad, the more circular the images get in the mirroring process. Eventually these multi-point mirrors become "Stellated", like stars. I was surprised by this and decided to create a series based on the stellation - pushing Pano-Sabotage so far that it's virtually unrecognizable.

The Hereios are all making a hasty exit from the site of an imminent hyperspace bypass construction zone. Today, we are all Hoopy Froods of the Galaxy.

Wandering through the plant section of a large store, I was stunned to see this purple and white flower. It reminded me of movies where one is traveling through hyperspace. It seems the colors of this Night Sky petunia change the intensity of its colors according to the temperature outside. I designed this fighter to be reminiscent of the arc-170, though in the lore it would fulfill a closer roll to the BTL Y-wing. A hyperspace capable heavy star-fighter/bomber meant to go up against capital ships and not get involved in dogfights with other fighters. Though able to hold it’s own and considered quite versatile with it’s interchangeable hard points making it adaptable to various mission profiles.

I normally go for B&W for these shots but like the colours of this one. albeit dark and moody

When my rescue ship drops out of hyperspace, it’s never for no reason. Between explosions, distress calls, and the silence of space, I always arrive at the right moment. I treat everything that still breathes, blinks, or keeps fighting: humans, robots, creatures… Fitted medic gear, bag ready, relaxed stance but a sharp mind. I’m the one they call when everything goes wrong, the one who keeps control. If I’m here, someone needs help… or simply a presence capable of raising the heart rate. 🚑🚀

When in doubt, take a photo of a tube tunnel... ;-)

"If we're anywhere Near where we're supposed to be."

While the flights of the RSS Pale Blue Dot and the RSS Mote of Dust provided successful proof of concept that hyperspace travel was possible, their ventures within the Solar system never truly achieved what the final goal was: faster-than-light travel. That honor was reserved for the RSS Hedy Lamarr that embarked on a 4-and-a-half-Month-40-light-years-round trip to the Trappist-1 System (solarsystem.nasa.gov/news/335/10-things-all-about-trappis...) in 2361, gathering a plethora of valuable data during a close flyby.

Behind the scenes:

It did take me forever to build that follow-up on the RSS Pale Blue Dot (flic.kr/s/aHskHoPuG3) and the RSS Mote of Dust (flic.kr/s/aHskUJZMn8). There were a number of attempts and iterations, most were never photographed, some were photographed but remained unpublished.

Hedy Lamarr (1914-2000): Austrian-American inventor who’s work laid the foundation for frequency hopping and the revolution in data transfer that shaped the the late 20th and early 21st century. (www.forbes.com/sites/shivaunefield/2018/02/28/hedy-lamarr... )

Having fun with Photoshop with nothing else to do...

For this one i attached the cam on my bike and put the ND Filter on it. I know that it would also work without the filter but my aim was a very heavy movement blur while the bike still remains clear and sharp. I am quite satisfied with the first result - lets get ready for hyperspace! ;o)
