BOREAS was the purple-winged god of the north wind, one of the four directional Anemoi (wind-gods). He was also the god of winter, who swept down from the cold northern mountains of Thrake, chilling the air with his icy breath. To the north, beyond his mountain home, lay Hyperborea, a land of eternal spring which was never touched by the god's cold wind.
When Boreas sought a wife, he carried off Oreithyia ("mountain gale"), daughter of King Erekhtheus of Athens, who was playing with her companions in a flowery riverside meadow. Their children included Khione the goddess of snow, and the Boreades, a pair of purple-winged heroes who chased away the Harpies which were plagueing King Phineus of THrake.
Boreas and his brother winds were often imagined as horse-shaped gods. An old Greek folk belief was that the winds Boreas and Zephyros would sweep down upon the mares in early spring and fertilize them in the shape of wind-formed stallions. The horses born from these couplings were the swiftest and finest of their kind. The fabulous horses of King Laomedon of Troy were said to have been sired in this way by Boreas upon the Trojan mares.
In Greek vase painting Boreas was depicted as a striding, winged god. Sometimes his hair and beard were spiked with ice. In mosaic art he often appears as a gust blowing head with bloated cheeks up among the clouds. This imagery carried over into post-Classical art, and is frequently found in old maps.
Supergirl, Gypsy, Huntress, Spoiler, Blackhawk, Black Canary, Raven, Power Girl, Batgirl.
I'm not sure what's reflecting so brightly on Spoiler's costume.
I like the other pose better (and the angle), but you get a better view of Batwoman's costume in this one.
A specialist in archaeology and cryptoglyphology and the hidden cities of South America and Tibet. He's on the expedition to provide information on certain mysterious connections between many ancient civilizations, and the symbologies of secret societies that may, for reasons hinted at by expedition organizers, be useful somehow. While not the wealthiest, Dr. Thunder has amassed an extensive body of knowledge on all sorts of topics. Hopefully, this expedition will make his name, and he can finally get into the Royal Academy after years of trying.
Lord Lewis Wotheringham-Smythe XII, as he insists upon being called, was introduced to the expedition team as being an expert in “esoteric matters,” a specialty of doubtful utility. As he'll tell anyone who will listen, and most who won't, Lord Wotheringham-Smythe XII isn't the strapping lad he once was, although he darkly hints that he's capable of a bit more than one would expect, thanks to some side effects of that spot of bother he ran into with his doctor friend last year.

Holotype of Castilleja pseudohyperborea Rebrist., with thanks to the LE Herbarium. Despite some comments to the contrary by other botanists, I think this may be an interesting and distinct species. I'd point out that the leaves are undivided in addition to the traits mentioned in the protologue. This looks different but likely related to me in comparison to the Nearctic C. hyperborea.
The future of SL would be a virtual inception, not just wearing a VR headset, but one that I can actually step into. I would not only be able to see my surroundings, but I could also feel them like a cool breeze on a hot summers day. Kind of like the Holodeck in the Star Trek Enterprise. My perspective on the future of fashion in SL would be that I can see a photo of an outfit that I like in RL, upload it to SL and instantly wear that exact outfit with just a click of a button.
Imagine a future where everyday items have become scarce and bodily enhancement shops are on every street corner. Welcome to Aetherscale Unlimited. I’m the Overwatch of Rare Commodities. If you need it, I can find it…..at a cost. These modifications don’t pay for themselves you know.
I only wear SL's finest recyclable materials. My modifications make me the fastest researcher in the galaxy, have the arm power to lift the heaviest objects, and my babies here …can instantly scan the quality of any item to estimate its value or to see if it’s just junk.
So, what will it be?

This small Saxifrage is similar to the more widespread Saxifraga hyperborea. It is seen here among mossy rocks in the alpine zone at 12,800 feet elevation near Summit Lake on Mount Evans in the Colorado Rockies. July 21st 2018, image 4I4A8318.
Last year we observed that sooner or later every costume becomes Slave Leia, a Sailor Scout, or a zombie. It’s time to add Mandalorians to that list.
A smaller design for the Eta-2 Jedi Starfighters as seen in Episode III Revenge of the Sith--crossed over with Ninjago!
This build stands on the shoulders of Nick Royer and utilizes the same basic structure that he came up with for his sky-fighters in Hyperborea; thank you for inspiring me all those years ago!
Although they may be small, the cockpits come built with a comfortable seat and just enough room to accommodate a minifigure who can pilot this smaller class of fighter with a steering yoke. The Starfighters also come equipped with two different grade of cannons for any pilot to survive in whatever interstellar wars may soon find themselves wrapped up in.
The design also features an opening cockpit and three retractable landing gear.
