Hydroflasks are made in Bend - we didn't make it out there this time.

This was my favorite camping/backpacking meal, until they changed the formula sometime around 2022.

12:25, Snowy, Overcast

I decided to use a head-on point of view to provide a uniform look between each exposure photo. I wanted to capture the true brightness of the Hydroflask. The snow helped pull the viewer's focus to the bright orange of the Hydroflask. I wanted to capture the idea that a cold, snowy day can leave room for beauty and brightness.

This photo satisfies requirement 4 for light and color. This was taken under normal lighting. I took a photo of my hydroflask next to a wall and turned off auto white balance. The hydroflask appears white and black under natural lighting. I used an aperture of f/6.3 to focus on the bottle and an ISO of 400 because there was average lighting at this spot.

The background of this photo contains an acrylic paint pour. This photo was taken with a Cannon 70D with a 18-135mm lense. This was taken with the aperture priority setting with a 3.5 setting.

I took this photo with the idea of highlighting just the hydroflask logo while showing a bit the bottle. I took this picture in during the day, horizontal, used a white posterboard to deterime the exposure and as a background.

Hydroflask water bottles are one of the most popular items on the market right now, and for good reason. They keep your drinks cold or hot for hours, they’re made with environmentally-friendly materials, and they come in a variety of sizes and colors.

But is it safe to put them in the dishwasher?

In this article, I'll answer that question and more - let's take a look at whether Hydroflasks are dishwasher safe!

Are Hydroflask Water Bottles Dishwasher Safe?

I absolutely love my Hydroflask water bottle, and I'm sure you do too! But one of the most common questions people ask is: are Hydroflasks dishwasher safe?

The answer to this question depends on a few different factors. It's important to consider whether heat damage or rust prevention could be an issue when washing your Hydroflask in the dishwasher.

Heat damage can become an issue if your Hydroflask isn't made out of stainless steel; some models are manufactured using plastic components that may not hold up well to high temperatures from the dishwasher. Rust prevention should also be taken into consideration since some of these bottles contain small crevices which can easily trap moisture, leading to corrosion over time.

Therefore it’s best practice to hand wash your hydro flask with warm soapy water instead of relying on the dishwasher for cleaning – unless you know for certain that all materials used in manufacturing your particular model are dishwasher safe.
