Sorry for the poor photo but I'd never noticed one of these before.

the hydrant defender is kinda like a super-hero, especially if you say it in a super-hero cartoon announcer voice. at least that's what ben and i decided.

I think they painted this hydrant to look like a dalmation so that other dogs would be confused and not pee on it.

I found this Fire Hydrant in the streets of San Franscisco. I like the vintage look of the picture.

Apparently our town uses little short hydrants. This one has weeds growing around it.

I wanted to photograph a bright red fire hydrant that was by dark green grass. I did not take the time to find the right hydrant, but I did use my 24mm lens.
