The massive Protoss Carriers serve as both command centers and devastating weapons of war. Heavily armored and shielded, the Carrier mounts no weaponry but instead manufactures and launches flights of robotic Interceptors at vital enemy targets. The computer-controlled Interceptors are capable of quickly tearing apart even the largest of vessels with their relentless strafing runs.
The carrier sustained minor battle damage in its travels to my local comic expo this past weekend, but I was able to rebuild it and take some pictures yesterday.
Overall, I'd say that the project was a success. It was mndbending at times in proportion to the brickbendind used to create it, but I think the resulting curves managed to capture the elegance of the Protoss war machine. This will prbably be my last build for a while as the school semester is wrapping up, but I wish all SHIPtember participants a fantastic last few days! I'm glad that I was able to join in on the fun this year :) #Curves2016

This is the Zerg Hydralisk from the game Starcraft 2. I wanted to build this for a while but didn't think it was possible. The Infestor, Xenomorph, and Gyarados I made showed me the techniques necessary for this.
I still have a few more pieces coming in to finish this off. I'll post more poses and angles when they do (and after Christmas).
I really like building Zerg now. I have a Zergling coming up next. Mutalisk, Ultralisk, and Broodlord are also very possible.

This is the Zerg Mutalisk from the video game: Starcraft 2. I don't have much to say about this. More Zerg to come in the future.

I needed a Zerg base to make my StarCraft layout complete, so here's my take on a small Zerg expansion, with a Hatchery and an Extractor. The Overlord is hovering in the back, totally hiding...

After playing some old school Starcraft, I was compelled to make a small moc featuring the installation.
Gotta watchout for those gun traps, you never know when they'll pop up from the floor.
I've also been practicing my photography lately, with the thanks to Gimp for cleaning up those small annoying glints of light as well as enhancing the color.

The area that balances this is about a 5x5 cut diagonally. The tail does nothing for balance. So posing is a bit limited by that, but the body is very flexible.

The Terran Marine and Hydralisk, based on the first game.
The Marine is solely based on Zessi's and Lord Dane's design, with a few tweaks.
I wanted to show off the cool collaborative we did for Brickworld in Europe as well, by bringing it to the Skærbæk Fan Weekend in Denmark, but seeing as all the terrain and Zerg and Terran forces went elsewhere, I was left with my Protoss army. So I set out to build some new terrain, and add some Zerg and Terrans to the map. In that process, I ended up with some new designs as well!
Bart's adorable Hydralisk uses a Q-part, so I chose to make a different version, using easier available parts.

The notorious and fierce Hydralisk (which is based on the original Starcraft) is the most notable of the Zerg. It attacks directly with it's scythe-like arms, and unleashes volleys of armor-piercing spines.
These guys get real nasty whenever Terrans run into them, which usually ends in a complete slaughter.

I AM BACK!!!!!
For the last month and few more weeks, I've been only studying for my highschool exam and lately I've been kept losing sleep..but! During those hard times, I tried to fold something out as possible, so here it is! Another version of Hydralisk! :D
Since I spend most of my time in school, I wasn't able to create anything so complicated, so I chose traditional bases(ex) bird base, frog base, etc) for my new design.. this hydralisk is folded from pure Blintz Frog Base and I'm really proud of it because the way I used to fold this model with that base is quite unique!
This is why I like to design my models with traditional bases! Even though the base might be seen as 'limited', as what you can see from my hydralisk design, it isn't actually 'limited' and the process of making those bases appropriate for the subjects is interesting, it's like making something out of nothing.. :)
Anyway, I've been retired from origami for a long time so the model might not look so good but I hope you guys like it...!!

This is it folks, the final model of the project. In conclusion I'd like to say that I apologize if you feel like the quality of my works have dropped significantly by the end. I grew tired of this project. I was anxious I won't finish it, and I ran out of creative juice, and, as the result, become self-aware and constantly dissatisfied.
But now that it's over I look back to it with pride. I've achieved some major milestones in my creative process, such as I found to not be afraid to screw around with Photoshop, as it might produce some fantastic results (Archon and SCV in particular).
In any case, thank you all who stuck with me, it's been fun! Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to you all!
