Detrola Model HW camera. Made in Detroit! I think the production year is circa 1939 but I'm very unsure, so please correct me if wrong. It takes 127 roll film. 50mm f/4.5 Wollensak lens.
Velcro tie keeps the cup from swaying back and forth. It also holds my ear bud/mic piece in place. I don't use it much, so I don't mind not having it up in a clip. Its still easy to reach.
I love my desk. On wheels for good mobility and free access, floor panel (foot rest anyone?), and a really interesting shape. The metal bars allow for great places to attach stuff! My peg board assembly is zip tied to the side, can you see my router poking out? Still some loose cables in the back. I've left them somewhat loose to make it easy to move my desk around.

Better view, here you can see the handle looped in the mesh. Its amazing how all that is held by one binder clip.
The HW 100K stock. Germanically efficient. Germanically ugly.
If you look closely at the area around the inletting you can see where my sanding has revealed lighter-coloured high spots. This indicates wood stain having been removed by the sanding.
And the stock is meant to be walnut! Why stain walnut? Even with a cheaper grade, please leave it as it comes HW!
