If this casting looks more than familiar then you'd be correct, well maybe not this EXACT casting, but the weird 70's fantasy styling does of course belong to the original Matchbox Fandango produced by Lesney from 1975 to 1981 then in its more simplified Super GT form from 1986 to 1988.
Somewhere along the way the Hong Kong based SZE Toys also produced their own cheapened copy which predictably didn't have the rotating rear fan blades of the Rolamatics original.
Another amazing survivor found recently in a charity shop by Mikaela.

I find this little Datsun highly detailed. Hot Wheels did a good job on this one.
