I had the pleasure and honor yesterday of working with the US military EOD group on a project I had in mind for quite a while. This is just the first in a series of shots. It was such an awesome experience not just shooting but controlling a bomb disarming robot, detonating C4 and getting in the bomb suit myself. Too much fun!

I missed work today. Sick. Blah. BUT I still had a good day. I slept until way too late, had a dentist appointment, then went to Red Robin/to see "The Princess and the Frog" with my best friend Bethany. Love her, and SO missed her. We talked for a while about our future careers [i SO want to be a clinical neuropsychologist] and her law career options, as well as our past. I had a great time with her. School gets in the way of our friendship. Big time.

Afterwards, i went to hangout with the boyfriend, we watched the Hurt Locker then Jennifer's Body... *sigh* Hurt Locker was good, but Jennifer's Body? eh...

Christmas is so close! " Please let me, let me, let me get what i want." and family, love, and all that stuff too.

As what we have seen in my previous article (The Hurt Locker PK Avatar - Which Will Be Oscar Winner?), both Cameron and Bigelow are the hot favorites to win the best director Oscar at next month's Academy Awards bash. And although Cameron may have looked like the front-runner by winning the Golden Globe with "Avatar", her ex-wife Bigelow ("The Hurt Locker") is absolutely a strong rival in awards race, who won BAFTA's Best Director Award as well as most of the other major best director gongs including Directors Guild of America award.

If Kathryn Bigelow wins in this Oscar Awards race, it will be the best revenge to James Cameron. (Although it is reported that they are good friends now, no woman can bear being betrayed and I believe she is not an exception)

Ok, let's first take a look at their short marriage.

Cameron and Bigelow were married in 1989, but this famed director left her in 1991 for the actress of "Terminator", Linda Hamilton.

After that, Bigelow committed himself to her word and career. However, it seems that she was not so successful as her ex-husband.

However, God will pay your dues some day, and The Hurt Locker allows Bigelow head-to-head this season for awards and has taken the high road when it comes to dealing with her ex in the spotlight.

"Kathryn was definitely the underdog before," says an insider. "But now it's feasible that she could win the Oscar, too."

But comparing with his former husband Cameron, she is much calm. At the backstage of Critics' Choice Awards, she was asked what she thought about beating her ex-husband James Cameron in two categories (the best director as well as the best picture), but she skillfully fenced with the question.

On the contrary, Cameron openly claimed he didn't care the "best director" of Oscar.

"I have already got an Oscar. I've got a couple of them…. I don't really need another one." he said.

Anyway, I support Kathryn Bigelow and firmly believe that The Hurt Locker will beat Avatar in Oscar Awards.

Tomorrow night - 82nd Annual Academy Awards - March 7th, 2010

I've seen virtually every film nominated for the big awards. My favourite is The Hurl Locker directed by Kathryn Bigelow the ex-wife of James Cameron ... director of Avatar.

District 9 was very good too.

Update: The Hurt Locker won 6 Oscars including Best Director and Best Picture. It was a remarkable night as the movie has only made 20 million dollars and Kathryn Bigelow is the first woman to win for Best Director.

James Cameron, left, director of "Avatar," and his ex-wife Kathryn Bigelow, director of "The Hurt Locker," pose together at the 15th Annual Critics Choice Movie Awards in Los Angeles. The science-fiction sensation "Avatar" and the war-on-terror thriller "The Hurt Locker" lead the Academy Awards with nine nominations each, including best picture and director for former spouses Cameron and Bigelow.

At the 82nd Academy Awards the Iraq war film The Hurt Locker won six awards including best picture and best original screenplay.
