I wanted to get Doo on this backdrop but Lucy stepped in (I had treats!).
I adjusted her floppy collar afterward.

When you're Friday tired, a very lazy tea is acceptable.
I'm not sure that Lucy can read, but she can certainly smell! She was on the table before we were even in the room.
She got some.
So, I'm at the computer trying to get a project going when I hear an almighty THUD! in the kitchen. Then, the sound of something dragging along the floor.
After 5-1/2 years, I instinctively know that Simon is most likely involved with those two sounds, so I grabbed the camera. Sure enough, he had evidently tried to pick up the bag of kibble from the table and jump down with it, ready to carry off his "prey", but it was too heavy and the THUD was it falling out of his mouth.
He proceeded to drag the bag into the living room where he tried to open it up for me so I could pour the contents into the Official Kibble Container. I liberated the bag from his jaws, cut open the top and poured the kibbles into the Official Kibble Container. Simon jumped on the table to observe/supervise my pouring, then quickly snatched a mouthful of kibble and ran off.
after eating Momma's banana bread, it's very important to do many Very Cute Things. Bedding change time provides many good opportunities for cuteness. Mom just can't stay mad at me when I'm so darn cute!

evalovescats: I live the lion shaped bookends :-)
Billie seems to have really gained an appetite lately and I don't know if I should be concerned. At one time, I practically had to slit my wrists to get her to eat her food. Now, she's hanging out in the kitchen and meowing at me every time I stand up and walk anywhere in the apartment.
While Billie sloooowwwwly eats her supper, Simon bides his time. He knows Mom will be distracted by something else and then he'll make his move on that bowl full of kibble!
(p.s. I'm trying out GraphicsConverter so please bear with me if the images look a bit funky...like that odd greenish dithering to Simon's left. yeesh!)
Answer (according to Simon): The red container is FULL, but his dish is EMPTY. Simon dreams of having opposable thumbs so that containers like this will become fully accessible to him.
We didn't get around to posting last night. Simon is being his usual mischievous and beautiful self...
