Pretty awesome to be out there today with so many others marching in solidarity. Loving the signs! Americans for human rights - we're with you <3 and Kindness is everything in particular.

This is a still from the video clip that I posted before this. The video of this scene was shot with my iPhone in 9:16. I created this 16:9 version with the ai tools in photoshop to extend the image to the left and right!

Worst day ever for humanity and our whole planet. And too many people still don`t get it. it fucks me off.

here collecting to march through the city.

Back in 2016 the Francophinie summit was held in Madagascar and the ministry of population just decided to clean up the street to hide the poverty from being seen. They loaded an entire truck of homeless each night. Those human have been treated like a herd of zebu before being taken into a hangar. They were not allowed to go out during certain day and they were not given food.

I am allways amazed from the incredible moral and even physicl strenght of african women.

Women’s rights around the world are an important indicator of understanding global well-being.

In 2020, the Women's March made an extra effort to include Women of Color. Maybe this lack of inclusion was more of an issue elsewhere, but I definitely remember Latina and African American speakers in prior years.

That said, it definitely was MORE diverse this year, with Native American women leading the march, and drawing attention to the problem of missing and murdered indigenous women, and the lack of action by law enforcement to find these victims. The issue of violence against black trans women was also specifically addressed.

As always, there were great signs.

Stay tuned for more....

Braunau on the Inn is a nice historic city in Austria -

but suffers hard by being the birthplace of Adolf Hitler. The house is marked by a big granite stone from KZ Mauthausen near Linz.

Recently the Austrian authorities decided to transform this house into a police station. Hopefully a way to avoid Nazi pilgrimage to this place, and hopefully a good way to handle this kind of history and "heritage".

Say no to fascism, antisemitism, nationalism, racism - stand up for human rights and democracy - much endangered in these times - even in the motherlands of democracy...

India’s 2011 census shows a serious decline in the number of girls under the age of seven. Across India there were 945 girls per 1,000 boys in the 1991 census, 927 in 2001 and now 914 (in 2011); in some areas this can be as low as 861. Rising incomes only seem to accelerate the selective abortion of girl foetuses (female foeticide).

More disturbingly, the latest annual health survey data pointed out that in nine most populous north-Indian states, girls are disappearing not so much from foeticide as from infanticide which reflected in the substantial fall in the gender ratio in the 0-4 age group in several districts across nine states. While foeticide is driven mainly by the fear of high wedding and dowry costs, it is exacerbated by the preference for sons as family sizes shrink.

Now the skewed gender ratio has given rise to a system of bride-buying in the affected states: once trafficked or purchased they can be exploited, denied basic rights, put to work as maids and, in many cases, abandoned. Marriage to "imported brides" makes caste, language and culture immaterial as long as money is paid to the girl's family and a male child is born. Most of them come from poverty-ridden villages of east-Indian states of Assam, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar and Orissa, and are sold because their families need the money.

India urgently needs a proper and more focused series of initiatives if it is to transform the status of its women.

On day 82nd of my 4th #HungerStrike outside the #UNHCR office in #Athens, Greece, I left my shelter again to reach the people at Generation 2.0 Red to find out why haven’t they been responding to years of my unilateral communications with them. Also, if I get a chance to reiterate my request for urgent help directly in person.

The Director was not there at first and the people who were present, mostly young and inexperienced, threatened to call the Police without specifying a reason.

Finally, after the Director arrived and by the end our short discussion, he could only commit to respond to my emails. But even then he didn’t fully deliver.

Hence, I continue to remain in urgent need of Humanitarian assistance and legal aid in this unbalanced fight for #Justice and #Freedom for my life.

Gaza suffers under Israeli blockade

The one-and-a-half million Palestinians in Gaza are struggling to cope amid power cuts as Israel continues its fuel blockade of the territory.

The shutdown of Gaza's only power plant has prompted fears of a humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.

Moaiya Hassanain, a health ministry official, said: "We have the choice to either cut electricity on babies in the maternity ward or heart surgery patients or stop operating rooms."

Gaza City awoke on Monday to find bread shops and petrol stations closed.

----------------------------------------------

This, and the killings of other Palestinians during the week, plus the closures, "raise very serious questions about Israel's respect for international law and its Commitment to the peace process", Dugard said. He said it violates the strict prohibition on collective punishment contained in the Fourth Geneva Convention, and one of the basic principles of international humanitarian law: that military action must distinguish between military targets and civilian targets.

My 27th Court Trial Outcome – A Minor Victory for Justice.

Since my unlawful deportation from Sweden back to Greece in 2015, I have been relentlessly prosecuted as a target of Europe's pushback. Wherever I seek assistance, instead of receiving aid, the police are called upon to take me away.

The announcement of my protest outside the UNHCR office on March 21st, 2017, has heightened the situation. Thus far, I have undergone 27 trials in the court, mostly due to my attempts to contact the UNHCR, and also some others for seeking assistance elsewhere.

For the first time ever, I had access to a lawyer but finding him was challenging. We had two meetings before the Court date. His objective was to dismiss the case due to lack of evidence and improper procedures. Although his motion was denied, but the ruling was ultimately in our favor due to lack of evidence.

A minor victory for justice, but far from justice being fully served and this Hostage-taking ending.
