"Caught in the blast of gamma radiation, brilliant scientist Bruce Banner is cursed to transform in times of stress into the living engine of destruction known as THE INCREDIBLE HULK. "
Rivet and timber detail from Purton Hulks
The Purton Hulks are river barges deliberately beached along a stretch of the River Severn (Gloucestershire, UK) during the last century. As they've silted up and decayed, exposed to sun, rain, all kinds of weater, the area gives an impression of being a barge graveyard. A flickr search of "Purton Hulks" will show plenty of images of the reamains of the barges.
Shot taken at the maritime graveyard known as the "Purton Hulks". The narrow bank between the canal and the River Severn to the north of the Severn Railway Bridge has long been used as a graveyard for old barges, with the aim of protecting the bank from erosion by the strong currents in the river.

On a walk from Rainham (the Kent version...) to Rochester along the River Medway - all sorts to see, including Horrid Hill, reached by a low path that passes this hulk.

Even though I make a lot of them, I'm not the biggest fan of the design of big figs from LEGO. I prefer this giant minifig looking type, so I decided to make a hulk figure. I think next time I will make the hair a little bigger to match the body proportions a bit more.
Hulk is still not happy about the revamped sugar content in Irn-Bru but I've explained to him that it's a good thing and I think he is starting to come around to the idea now...
I enjoyed painting this so much I decided to refine it some more. I ditched the basic red background I added yesterday for a stone wall. Then I refined the details of our green friend and beefed up the color on him. Now, it's done...i think.
My wife is back row on the right, nephew is front row in bright orange, and my friend is the one with his tongue out as he saw me on the way round. Haha 😂
I just took this a moment ago, while getting a drink. We had a break during a usability test, and noticed this on a programmers desk. enjoy!
Chances are that if the Hulk owned a bus, it would look somewhat like this.
Shot in Pearsonville, California. Lit with the Protomachine LED 2.
A Hulk near Lossiemouth in Scotland. I doubt that it will sail the waters off Scotland , or indeed anywhere, again
This hulk sits in the middle of the Old Dock at Barry, South Wales.
I don't know what it was called but I'm sure someone will let me know if they do.
Twice a day the wreck is submerged by the time.

Why has this decaying hulk of a trawler has been lying marooned and rotting away near Denton Bridge for several decades?

This is Hulk from the Marvel Ruins story line. Ever since I saw this guy, I wanted to make him so I made this. His backstory is pretty straightforward. He saves Rick Jones from the gamma bomb. He then absorbs the radiation and turns into the hulk. In this reality science exists, so he grew tumors all over and burst into a blob of tumors and exposed bones.
Hope that explains what this abomination is.
