I took this photo from the passenger seat of our army jeep as we drove through Hué,the beautiful old capital city of Indochina. This captures something of the daily life of the city in spite of the war that was waging not all that far away. Unfortunately, Hué became a focal point of this war during the Tet Offensive, just 3 months after I took my photo.

The Lesser Wanderer is a smaller version of the non-native Wanderer or Monarch, known world-wide for its spectacular yearly migration through North America. The local version is almost ubiquitous on the Australian mainland but lacks a similar migratory urge. This male displays visible packs of androconia scales which produce an attracting pheromone.

last picture i am going to upload from this meet. this doll is actually mine, a Peakswoods Vampire Hucky. i tentatively want to name her Hue, but i'm not certain about that yet. it'll probably stick though.
