Thomas Weaver, an English engineer, discovered lead ore while building this road which " lead" to major mining in this area. Its nice to think that something good came out of this dreadful period in history.
The road was build in 1798 by the English army to try and capture the rebels that were hiding in the Wicklow mountains. It was a way to quickly bring troops from Rathfarnam, Co. Dublin to any trouble spots. It was quite successful but Michael Dwyer and Gen Joseph Holt hid out in the mountans for 5 years before giving themselves up. Dwyer hid in a cave in Glenmalure which I found last year having searched off and on for 4 years.
They both were given free passage to Australia. Dwyer became the sherrif of New South Wales and died there where as after many adventures, Holt got back to Ireland.
The road is still there and in use every day with innumerable little bridges that are still intact which is a testament to the men who built it all those years ago. A truly awe inspiring place and Im so lucky to live so close to it.

Donde está la expresión de Dios, ahí aparece, ahí existe la verdad, el camino y la vida. Al buscar las huellas de Dios, habéis ignorado las palabras ‘Dios es la verdad, el camino y la vida’. Y así, muchas personas, incluso cuando reciben la verdad, no creen que han encontrado las huellas de Dios y mucho menos reconocen la aparición de Dios. ¡Qué error tan grave!”
De aquí, se puede ver que cuando el Señor vuelva en los últimos días, expresará palabras y nos llamará a la puerta. Si queremos recibir al Señor, debemos dar importancia a Su voz, sólo así, podremos recibirlo y asistir al banquete con Él. Ahora, alguien da testimonio de que el Señor ha regresado, ha pronunciado palabras y ha hecho la obra de juicio que comienza por la casa de Dios. Todos los cristianos que pueden buscar e investigar con humildad y enfocarse en escuchar la voz de Dios tras enterarse de esta noticia lo han recibido y han sido arrebatados ante Su trono. Aquellos que escuchan la voz de Dios pero no buscan ni investigan no podrán dar la bienvenida a Él. Al hablar de esto, ¿también deseas con ansiedad escuchar la voz de Dios y acoger el regreso del Salvador? Solo escuchando las palabras de Dios con atención como Pedro, Juan y Mateo, etc., cuando reconozcamos al Señor a partir de ellas, podremos dar la bienvenida a Él.
Dios dice: “Dondequiera que Dios aparece, allí se expresa la verdad y estará la voz de Dios. Sólo los que pueden aceptar la verdad podrán escuchar la voz de Dios y sólo tales personas están calificadas para presenciar la aparición de Dios”.
Ahora que el Señor ha retornado, Él es Dios Todopoderoso encarnado. Dios Todopoderoso ha expresado las palabras del Espíritu Santo a las iglesias, y está llamando a la puerta del hombre a través de estas palabras. Todas las vírgenes prudentes, tras oír las palabras de Dios, saben buscar e investigar activamente, y han determinado que las palabras de Dios Todopoderoso son la verdad, la voz de Dios, y han acogido la vuelta del Señor.

Cómo orar a Dios es un tema muy importante para todos los cristianos. La oración a menudo es ignorada por nosotros en nuestra vida diaria. Muchas veces, oramos ante Dios de manera superficial, simplemente pasando por las formalidades. Nunca hemos presentado nuestros corazones ante Dios para tener oraciones verdaderas, y simplemente nos apresuramos a ir ante Él para orar y admirarlo cuando nos encontramos con algunos problemas. Es por esa actitud que no sabemos cómo orar a Dios, incluso si hemos creído en Él por muchos años. Hoy, compartamos cómo orar a Dios juntos.
1. ¿Cómo orar a dios correctamente?
Un día, un amigo mío vino a mi casa y se reunió conmigo. Al hablar sobre este tema, el sacó un libro y me leyó: "¿Qué significa orar realmente? Quiere decir hablar con Dios las palabras que están dentro de tu corazón y comunicarte con Dios después de que comprendiste Su voluntad, basándote en Sus palabras; quiere decir sentirte particularmente cerca de Dios, sentir que Él está enfrente de ti y que tú tienes algo que decirle; y quiere decir que está especialmente radiante dentro de tu corazón y sentir que Dios es especialmente precioso. Te vas a sentir especialmente constreñido y, después de escuchar tus palabras, tus hermanos y hermanas se van a sentir complacidos, van a sentir que las palabras que hablas son las palabras que están dentro de sus corazones, las palabras que quieren decir y que lo que tú dices representa lo que ellos quieren decir. Esto es lo que significa orar verdaderamente". De "Acerca de la práctica de la oración" Este párrafo de palabras me permitió entender: Una oración verdadera significa hablar nuestras sinceras palabras a Dios y abrir nuestros corazones para estar en comunión con Él acerca de nuestras dificultades, las cosas que enfrentamos y las preguntas que no entendemos. Al orar a Dios y acercarnos a Él, comprendemos su voluntad y encontramos las formas de practicar. Con una oración como esta, podemos tener una mente clara e iluminada bajo la guía de Dios, para que podamos ver la verdadera naturaleza de los problemas más a fondo. Mientras tanto, podemos sentir que Dios tiene razón a nuestro lado; nuestros corazones se sentirán particularmente cerca de Él y nuestra relación con Él se acerca gradualmente. Si siempre oramos a Dios de esta manera, nuestras oraciones estarán detrás de su corazón y seguramente serán respondidas.
