SOLOMON SEA (Aug. 4, 2021) An MH-60S Sea Hawk with Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25 prepares for takeoff aboard amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6). The MH-60S is a multi-mission platform allowing combatant commanders incredible flexibility in open-ocean and littoral operations. The 31st MEU is operating aboard ships of America Expeditionary Strike Group in the 7th fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region. The futuristic looking Condor Liberation is a high speed trimaran ferry that was built in Western Australia in 2010. She entered service with Condor on the route between Poole, the Channel Islands and St Malo in 2015, and is seen here approaching Poole Harbour. She can achieve a top speed of 39 knots.

HSC Manannan is a 96-metre (315 ft) wave-piercing high-speed catamaran car ferry built in Tasmania in 1998.
In summer season, she operates daily sailings from Douglas to Liverpool, and weekly/twice weekly sailings to Belfast and Dublin.
In the winter she is laid up in Liverpool and goes on reserve until the summer season.
