My HP Pavilion is dead. She was never the fastest of machines, nor the smartest, and she didn't always do what I wanted her too. But we spent so much time together that we developed a bond of sorts. She would disobey sometimes, and I would hit her, and then she would grudgingly do what I'd ordered.

But most of all, she was my lifeline to all of you for so many years.

(In this photo, the power supply has been removed, since it quit on us. It turned out to be almost as cheap to buy a brand new computer, so I let this one die.)
