The Grateful Dead, June 24 (maybe 23rd), 1994. Pre-show fun, the week leading to the concert. Dead Heads camped out close to a week ahead of time. Actual show is June 26th, 1994. It was crazy hot even for Vegas at that time of the year.
Hadn't looked at this roll since Summer of 94' or made any prints.

This is Armstrong the Giraffe AKA Kenny. He had set up a stall with free water, biscuits and banana's for the runners.
He told me of his idea to do local good deeds for the community. A really nice guy.
Here's a BBC article on Armstrong the Giraffe

Taken with a Mamiya 645E, Mamiya-Sekor C 80mm f/2.8 N, on Ilford HP5 Plus, home developed, and scanned with an Epson V600.
I think this was the first roll I shot with the 645E after I bought it from Midwest Camera (mpex) at their physical store in Columbus, Ohio. I wasn't a fan of the camera, so I sold it I think to another shop out near Lexington or Louisville, Kentucky.
These 4 shots are all from the East End of Charleston, West Virginia. I worked at a restaurant here and lived in Charleston at the time these were shot back in December 2018.
I found this roll which was exposed and not labeled in a box I had stored recently. My friend was kind enough to develop at home. Only 6 out of 15 shots were exposed and there were some leaks. Glad I didn't hold on to this thing! I ended up not going back to film after shooting medium format from 2014-2018 nor even 35mm 2007-2015. But, it finally sucked me back in. I just got an Olympus OM10 and a Mamiya RZ67 (was also my first MF back in '14)
