Lissajous figures are interesting curves that occur in systems where oscillation happens in more than one direction, for example when a pendulum hanging from a string moves in the plane.
These pictures are from an easy persistence of vision approach to playing with Lissajous figures. Read more about this project here.
*Materials*
1x strip of fabric color A, 1/2" X 9 1/2" (to make 9x 1 1/4" HSTs, scale up for larger)
1x strip of fabric color B, 1/2" X 9 1/2" (to make 9x 1 1/4" HSTs, scale up for larger)
Square Template (I cut a 1 1/4" cardboard square, so I wouldn't have to purchase anything)
Rotary cutter, Mat, Ruler, Thread, Sewing Machine, etc.
Sew together the two strips of fabric and press the seams open.
This is what I have been trying to do for a while now and it took me a long time to find just the right little plastic part.

Book boards (8.5X11 *2) - Paper Source, Scissors, Canvas (6X6"), Ribbon (2 yards), Ruler, Embroidery floss (or strong thread), sewing needle, PVA glue, Book cloth (preferably not sewing fabric), bone folder, paint brush, cutting mat (for Xacto knife), Awl (i.e. pointy metal object), 3 sheets card stock (forendpapers)
The basic ratio for the kind of flour glue I make is 1 part flour to 2 to 4 parts water, mixed and added to 20 parts boiling water.
Half way wet felted, just his belly and back to go.
Start wet felting by sprinkling a little hot soapy water on the rabbit. Start with feet and hands, then ears and face. You need to use a massaging motion to get the fibres to knit together
Get a cloth damp, place it over the flower on an ironing board, and then press with the iron for 10 seconds at high heat. This will steam the flower flat. You should do this for both sides of the flower.
