The finished result.

If you have made any mistakes, just wait for the top coat to dry a bit and then soak your hands into some warm water [or take a shower] and wait till they are moist and use your hands or a wooden cuticle pen to get the excess off of your fingers.

This drill-bit fit the hex head screws I got. This was invaluable.

This image shows the squishy switch with the two wires connected and electrically conductive paint applied.

Step 2:

Make a triangular template from construction paper that fits within the circles. Fold each circle template around the triangle, creating neat creases.

Lissajous figures are interesting curves that occur in systems where oscillation happens in more than one direction, for example when a pendulum hanging from a string moves in the plane.

These pictures are from an easy persistence of vision approach to playing with Lissajous figures. Read more about this project here.

The subject is lit by the Frankenstrobe and the reflector, while the background is lit by another strobe. I used my notebook for live shooting - instant feedback is very useful for self-portraits :-)

Chicken seems to have the least amount of grease and the best structural integrity when finished.

Now you have a set of beautiful summer nails!

CREATE SEPARATE SECTIONS IN YOUR SHOWROOM

HOW TO ELIMINATE DISTRACTIONS IN THE MEETING ROOM

An open plan office is a nice way to promote interdepartmental collaboration and it communicates a no-nonsense, transparent approach to doing business. Notice how the center argyle repeat is the only block to have the original dimensions of '21x21' stitches, whereas the rest of the blocks are sharing a row or column with another repeat. This is illustrated in the next few images.

Did the microwave go "ding?" Tell your dog "Let's go check on the treats!" and peek under the paper towel. They won't be ready yet; set the microwave for another two minutes.

Step 0: Materials

Bamboo wooden dowels (the kind you use for shish kebabs), Circular mirrors of assorted sizes (one larger than the rest), Silver spray paint, Hot glue gun, and/or duct tape

Step 1: Spray paint the wooden dowels silver

Spray paint one side of the dowels, flip over, spray paint the other side, let dry.

Step 2: Hot glue & duct tape dowels to the back of the large mirror

This step is sort of hodge-podge. Just use whatever you have at hand to ensure that the dowels stick to the back of the mirror. I used mostly hot glue, reinforced with duct tape.

Step 3: Flip mirror over to the "right side" and attach smaller mirrors to dowels with hot glue

Step 4: Hang your new starburst mirror on the wall, you're done!

I like to secure my mirror with some double-sided tape on the back, and a wire nail at the bottom of the mirror.

The paper towel is to hold down any splatters. If you're using chicken, there won't be any. Don't put paper towel under the hot dogs; they will stick.
