Another Summer 2019 visitor to my garden. I have other images which clearly show a completely yellow hind femur.
Very wet day today but garden wanted it! Looking for something to post I found this fairly scarse variety of Hoverfly not posted before. Fairly scarse species but recorded in many southern areas. Taken in June 2 years ago
a hoverfly inside a cornet flower...
this means i had to bring the lens deep into the blossom and actually i did not see what i was doing. LOL
