Came across this set of grain bins - the fog turned the scene so mellow. I was tempted to do in B&W but the warm light filtering though was so lovely. Also, the dirt in front of the front bins in black seemed to make the bins run off the image edges, but the slight color change stopped that effect.
Le Massif des Aiguilles Rouges et le Mont Buet depuis la moraine du Glacier du Tour dans le Massif du Mont Blanc (Haute-Savoie).
this is again what I always prefer - "nothing"!
Nothing on a planetary scale, just a fragment of a sphere.
Majestic nothingness, there is neither the eternal "makeshift" Eiffel Tower, nor the greatest marvel of Italian marketing - the ever-falling bell tower. Luckily that's not all! And still thousands of people do not crowd and sell hot dogs. Not yet.. ) What a blessing that there is NOTHING !
If you have something inside.. then you need it so much - a little air around !

The palafitic pier of Carrasqueira is a masterpiece of popular architecture. Erected in the 50s and 60s, it is unique in Europe and is built on irregularly fragile wooden posts, apparently fragile, that serve as a dock for fishing boats. This structure allows fishermen access to boats, even during low tide. Carrasqueira, Setúbal - Portugal.
A dream is the bearer
of a new possibility,
the enlarged horizon...
the great hope.

What is it that we're looking for that lies outside of ourselves?
“If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you.”
― Gospel of Thomas
This photograph was taken this morning from the Heritage Bridge looking towards Orchid Country Club and beyond before sunrise.
The sun was rising below the horizon, and illuminated various clouds and cloudlets of interesting shapes and shades. The colourful clouds were progressively illuminated, with the mirror-like reflections providing added interests to the captivating landscape. The ripples in the foreground, in the middle of the photograph, were probably caused by a fish in the reservoir.
Best wishes for a wonderful weekend!
