A sea of fog atop Khao Kho in the Phetchabun Mountain Range.

Wikipedia: Khao Kho is a district of Phetchabun province, northern Thailand. The name of the district comes from Khao Kho, a peak in the Phetchabun Mountains. Between 1965 and 1984, this mountainous area was a battleground in the fight between the Thai communist party and the Royal Thai Army.

I spotted this little chickadee flitting around in a tree overhead. Eventually, it settled on a branch, and hopped from place to place along the branch, pecking at the wood.

Spotted along the Great Ocean Road, Australia.

Still unhappy with flickr and will need some time to recover from this sh*t.

The White-headed wood-hoopoe (Phoeniculus bollei) is a species of bird in the family Phoeniculidae.

These birds inhabit from sea level up to 3,200 metres (10,500 ft), mainly in savannas and dry flowland and in montane primary forest, but they are also found in regenerating forests, as well as in deciduous woodlands.

Phoeniculus bollei can reach approximately a body length of 30-35 centimetres (12-14 in). The female is smaller and has a much shorter bill. These birds show a combination of a white head, a slightly curved bright red beak and red legs and feet, quite different from other species of the family. The iridescent plumage is dark blue or violet-blu. The wings have a purple-copper luster.

This beautiful White-headed wood-hoopoe is a lifer and was photographed on an early morning bird walk climbing up the slopes of Mt Kenya, Naro Moru, Kenya.

R: What's wah-pah?

C: Y'know, whipped! Wah-pah!

J: That's not whipped! Whipped is wh-tcssh!

C: That's what I did. Wah-pah!

J: You can't do anything!

(This is not a whip, but I really wanted to quote this)
