Ah, the disenfranchised Icelandic youth. Apparently, they rather enjoy scrambling down inside the tephra ring of Hverfell and putting their mark on this landmark. I was both enchanted and disturbed by their hooliganism. I guess all their hard work will be for naught once the nearby volcano, Krafla, pops off again. This is a ridiculously volcanically active area, even by Icelandic standards.

They may be the skinheads of the bird world, but there's no doubt Starlings are beautiful creatures.
Seems that we now have hooligans along the Heritage Trail, as you can see they tagged the bridge (in my fave color, pink).
