Don't remember what year this model was (bet Vince knows), but, oh, those lines.
Plymouth, Barracuda.
My entire goal this weekend was to do a killer shot of my friend Matt's STi. Though not as epic as I imagined it would be, overall I'm happy with the result. Thanks for Explore #40, this one made it to 7!
1964 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray
The Sting Ray’s “stinger” scoop is one of the most recognizable hoods ever used on the Corvette. It was the original L88 hood before the C3 showed up and changed what “L88 hood” meant. That center stinger leading into a wide, subtle scoop had a suggestion of a jet intake—appropriate, considering Chevy’s “Turbo-Jet” engine nomenclature—and gave the Corvette room to fit a taller Chevy big-block V-8 with a mid-rise dual-plane intake.
Edited using BeFunky.com's FeaturedEffects #3. This one kinda has an HDR feel to it. I like the results, though. What do YOU think?

This Bluebird (1964 Thunderbird) was on display at the 2023 Agriculture Hall of Fame Show-In-Shine Car Show in Bonner Springs Kansas.
The fourth generation Ford Thunderbird is a large personal luxury car produced by Ford for the 1964 to 1966 model years. This generation of the Thunderbird was restyled in favor of a more squared-off, "formal" look. The only remnant of the Thunderbird's former sporty image was that the standard 390-cubic-inch 300 hp (224 kW) V8 engine needed nearly 11 seconds to push the heavy T-bird to 60 mph (97 km/h). The softly sprung suspension allowed considerable body lean, wallow, and float on curves and bumps. Contemporary testers felt that the Buick Riviera, Pontiac Grand Prix and Chrysler 300K were substantially more roadworthy cars, but the Thunderbird retained its leading market share.
