I did this a long time back. Just found it while cleaning out a

drawer.

Happy New Year ! :-)

Limone, Lake Garda, Italy

Sod the photo, I've finally found a way to solve my problem of wonky images with sloping horizons and waterlines... shoot everything from a moving boat!

This image of presumable someone's home or holiday home (most jealous) is as taken - dead centre, dead level (oh alright... I've cropped it a little but it's still central and level). Captured on the way back from Riva del Garda via Limone to Malcesine, this house is just north of Limone.

My home sweet home. Landscaping done by Kimbra Iridescent.

Homes on the lake shore.

The French doors open to the wrap-around deck.

This male Eastern Bluebird was enjoying the comforts of home ownership. Probably working on a survival plan for the cold winter to come.

good luck to You. and to You to.

This view is a part of the city we call home. But having sailed Georgian Bay for many years, I know that the workers on these freighters must be glad to call it home for a few weeks too. The waters can be very rough on the bay.

To me there’s nothing more beautiful than evenings like this

Chalk advice from back in April. We're back to lock down mode hoping it doesn't take off.

I like how the chalk matches the house colours and the polite letterbox. Stay safe everyone.

Home Photography, Macro lens test, handed

When Gui was 3 to 4 years old, he loved to stand in front of some paintings on the wall. They interested him very much and I had to explain what each one was about. Meanwhile he collected some packaging papers for candy and asked me to fix them on the frames of my canvases, for "those were HIS works of art". I obviously agreed and my small wall of paintings became way richer then. :)

Oh and Nemo had to keep watching them.

Just another frame of this classic on home rails at an iconic northern New England locale.

Having traveled more than 25 miles and climbed 1400 ft in elevation the Conway Scenic Railroad's Mountaineer excursion has reached the top of Crawford Notch as they emerge from the deep cut at the Gateway along the famed former Maine Central Railroad Mountain Sub. The classic first generation power is nearing the end of their run just ahead at Crawford's depot where the power will run around before starting back down the mountain. CSRR owned GP7 573 led west trailed by F7 4268 (the ex MEC and B&M duo were built by EMD in Sep. 1950 and Oct. 1949 respectively). This geep is right at home here having led many a freight and passenger train over this route during the first 33 years of its life working for the Pine Tree Route.

To read more about my adventure this day and a bit more history of the 4268 check out the earlier caption with this shot: flic.kr/p/2nD1J3k
