So I went and looked at another home builder today… I know…

I found out that the builder I was working with has an “F” rating with the Better Business Bureau, and the only other home builder who has the same rating was a builder who was sued by hundreds of people for fraud and very poor dealings. Most of the complaints people had were the exact same experience that I had with them: a lot of “We can’t do this for you…” and then they go and do it for someone else, not honoring contracts, breaking contracts, and not responding to people’s concerns.

This new builder seems to be leaps and bounds better than the other as far as what they will do for you. They are semi-custom so I could literally get everything that I want in a home, but it’s just a bit above my current price range. So I’m going to have to do some creative accounting and really think through what I want and how to make it happen. Such a journey of up and downs, but in the end it’ll be worth it I think!

"Unusual floor to ceiling picture window and corrugated glass at front entry help create the modern exterior styling of this 2 bedroom ranch home. The same colorful planning is reflected throughout the interior, too, with studio ceiling featured in the living-dining room. A functional living area, the multi-use room, can serve as family room, guest room or 3rd bedroom as desired.

"First appearances are often deceiving as in the appearance of this attractive contemporary design. The basic house is small and compact but the low rooflines, garage and patio make it appear larger. The patio is located with convenient access to the kitchen and is visible from the living room making it ideal for outdoor entertaining."
