We had this for lunch today. I like homemade best since I can control what is in the dish. I think most canned beans are way too sweet!

Baked in my Breville Toaster Oven!

There's something about living out in the country that makes me want to bake bread! This is a loaf of Artisan Spelt and Seed Bread. I prepared the dough last night, proofed it in the fridge and let it rise this morning then baked it. It smells good! Both Stu and I had a piece and it turned out just right, I'm so pleased!

My Mommy cooked a huge dinner today, & called and asked me to make my new famous Carrot Cake (lol), so I obliged. I should have made a layered cake, but I was lazy & didn't have the mindset to do layers.....pitiful, I know! Anyway, tired, and here's todays image...hope everyone has had a great Sunday!
