Thanks for views, faves and comments!

I love this mold that shows the Aesop fable of the Crow and the Pitcher that my husband bought for me.

Some awesome soap I got for Christmas. Handmade soap from Delia. Starting from the top is elderberry, tobacco bay leaf, and the bottom is honey. They are all goat milk soap. I do make homemade soap but I didn't make these. Too bad you can't smell them. They an amazing smell.

I made some up last night. But realized I didn't let them cool long enough when the layers split on the star and the small bunny. Oh well they still smell really good and since they are for kids it won't matter. That and I realized I need to shift the molds so I don't get bubbles in the soap or else I got the base soap too hot. Need to experiment more I guess.

…yep, still messing in editing…

Homemade traditional hard soap has been replaced with pump action liquid soaps made from chemical compounds and preservatives. This is some of our homemade soap which contains honey from our hives. It is rich and creamy and leaves your hands lovely and soft 😊

Practice promo shots for my friend’s homemade soap! Watch out for photo dump!

[36/365] My world.

Welcome to my world! It’s not perfect and you have to be gentle so I don’t burst. But I’ll give you beautiful light and vivid colors and only the wind knows our destination.

My father and his wife came for a visit today and they brought a big bottle of homemade soap bubble mixture and some god tools for making really big bubbles. My children then filled the garden with big bubbles and I naturally had my camera at hand. This picture really stood out and I was staring at it for at least 15 minutes.

The bubble is so perfect in itself that I left it SOOC except for a small crop and the added text.

Do I have to mention that it is best viewed large? Lots of details...

Colonia Güell, Santa Coloma de Cervelló.

We made soaps the other day. Not the mixing chemicals kind, but the melt and pour and add scents kind. We added oatmeal to one and made it scrubby, and lavender flowers to the other, to make it more beautiful. They smell heavenly, and make us want to take extra baths and showers.

A few months ago I'm making my own homemade soaps, this natural cosmetics is a new world for me (I have to say that it is addictive), is another way to express what I feel, is an art (this does not mean that my soaps are). For a moment I become a kind of alchemist, fusing oils, weighing and calculating the essences to create a fragrance which pleases me, prepare the molds, mix it and wait for it to harden, so that it can finally unmolding and slicing.....

This is a decoration in my moms herb garden. I've always really liked it, the way it sits amongst the chamomile. My mom uses all of these herbs in her homemade soap.

When her son had skin issues as a baby she learned how to make her own soap. Later she that turned that skill into a business. She even has goats milk and coconut milk versions for vegans.

This is photo 9/100 of my 100 strangers project. Joyce makes homemade soap and bath products with goat milk. She has been bringing her products to the Anderson City Market for the past two years. She loved talking about her product. She warned me I would need multiple shots because she believes she's is terrible with being photographed.

The challenge with photographing her under her canopy is to adjust for the shade and the backlighting.

Restera mon fichier Tiff, a bien conservé...

I like this photo, snapshot 1880/1900, the ship is on its feet slightly high making us dive

towards this small assembly.

Bend over to hear the village gossip...

The little old woman in the middle, she hasn’t heard anything for a long time and is making her

end of life placemats and seam repairs of others.

Maybe the fact that she has a pair of glasses

among intellectuals; former teacher. She was able to remain coquettish. Surrounded by robust

women who, in all weather and temperatures, do their daily work!

Curious that in this village there is no water point for laundry, stones in the background an old

well?

You had to love this stereo, and I spend time there...

But personally when I see the result, even if I have nothing to do with it, I find myself in the

sun, hearing a discussion in dialect incomprehensible to me, plus this smell of homemade soap...

What more can I ask for?

Just a moment...

PS: unfortunately a moron, put at least 3 layers of tape to join the two stereos. The glue like

all glues will turn yellow over time (UV plus solvents), impossible to remove even by heating the

adhesive, it is irreversible!

Will remain my Tiff file, kept well...

I pour my soaps into a unique molds, which I carve myself. My soaps are made from natural ingredients, vegetable oils, pure volatile oils, at times from goat milk. They get their color from herbs, coloring plants. #soap #artisan #handmade #goats_milk_soap #natural #wholesome #healthy #ornament, #homemade_soap,

Affordable Handmade Soap for the Masses

Spa Indulgences by Niki, my store, has been in business since 2009. When I first started out, I did not even consider my handmade soap.

It initially began as Weavah Diva Creations. During this first version, I focused on my fiber arts, exclusively. There was not homemade soap during these early days.

Eventually, I was convinced that I needed to bring my handmade soap bars to the public, because they are high quality, and kept at an affordable price point.

In my store, you will find not just my beautiful handmade soaps, but bath bombs, shower bombs, and gift sets.

If you are having trouble deciding on the soap you want, see which of my varieties are available for my assortment set. This set includes 12 of my 5.5-ounce bars. Each of these handmade soap bars is individually wrapped and labeled for your enjoyment or for giving as gifts.

I am also please to announce the introduction of an assortment set that features 12 of my 4.5-ounce bath bombs.

When you are ready to order your favorite scent, check to see if I have it in stock, or you can order it by the batch.

If you have questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

handcrafted cold process soap in several different varietes. the phrase "ugly as homemade soap" makes no sense to me. i think handcrafted soap is lovely. i haven't made any in a while - these are about 6 months old, but i'm getting the itch again.

UPDATE 10-2006 - i'm actively making soap again and have just finished my 18th pound.

love.

shot in a nylon box lit on all sides.

Why a Chrysler jacket? Because my parents gave me their old/5th car, a 1999 Chrysler 300M. Yea, this is probably the best present I've ever received out of every present in my life, with the exception of 2 cash presents I have received that were worth more than the car (graduation money, and some money for our addition).

Carolyn has installed the license plate covers onto her car. They make her happy. Clint moved his license plate cover from the Bonneville to the Chrysler, and put Carolyn's old plain black one on his Bonneville.

The sugar container is the fourth one Carolyn owns now. She already had one for flour, one for wheat flour, and one for sugar. This one is being used for brown sugar. They have a built-in pourer, and keep bugs and rot from getting to your sugar/flour. Awesome product, which is why it was on our wishlist.

Clint loves the microbead pillows, and now we have plenty of them. This is great, because they get smooshier over time, so having extras is awesome. Too many pillows is one of the best problems to have.

Crazy Cat Lady action figure is awesome, though we are running out of physical space for such things.

The Tazmanian Devil light is hanging on our wall now. Amazed we found a space that already had a nail hole there. Dated cartoons (except Popeye) aren't really our thing -- we only watch modern cartoons -- but it still beats the blank wall that was there before.

All the food is gone.

Dunno if the home improvement book will be used much; all this info is on the internet, more up to date, easier to access, and easier to carry around. I did look through it some.

Digital scrapbooking is an attempt by a failing industry to keep people stuck in old paradigms where they buy paper and wasteful craft supplies. Paper is dead. Scrapbooking is dead.

I am confounded as to why our family keeps giving us Christmas ornaments when they know we don't "do" Christmas trees. I also am confused by repeatedly receiving backgammon-related gifts, when I would only ever play on a computer anyway :) We also never use calendars, and never put pictures in picture frames -- Though those frames are really cool looking and may someday be used.

Brown mustard, however, will definitely be used. Long live brown mustard. Yellow mustard is not real mustard. It should be spelled musTURD.

The leather pillow goes really well with our leather couches.

The homemade deodorant gets more confusing if you lose the label, think it's toothpaste, and then brush your teeth with it. Definitely felt fresher in my mouth. Never brushed my teeth with deodorant before.

We didn't really have a place for a 3rd disco ball -- but then I broke one putting away other Christmas gifts, so the 3rd disco ball replaced the 2nd one we had. The other one is being repaired with glue, but it doesn't look so hot with a few pieces of mirror missing. Anyone want a partially used disco ball?

Backgammon board game, Christmas ornament, Chysler jacket, Crazy Cat Lady action figure, Digital Scrapbooking, Flintstones stickers, If I Had A Hammer, Monopoly lights, Simpsons calendar, Tazmanian Devil light, The Simpsons, book, caramel popcorn, cherry skulls, digital picture frame, disco ball, homemade bath salts, homemade deodorant, homemade shampoo, homemade soap, hot sauce, jalapenos, leather pillow, license plate covers, microbead pillows, mustard, pewter picture frames, sock monkeys, sugar container, toffee, vibrating football board game.

Monopoly. cartoon: Tazmanian Devil.
