Happy Birthday, Dean.

I'm glad you like your first gift of the day...

I’m excited. Very excited & looking forward to the event (fingers crossed). I love being out, but then sometimes I do have full days off; I enjoy my candles & stack of books, and fireplace, and hot tea & warmth, and music. It feels nice. Really nice ♥️

When I was in 8th grade, my mother gave me money for the school book fair. I wanted to get my money's worth so I bought the thickest book I could find. It was "Hawaii" by James Michener. I am so lucky to have a mother who values books and reading.

Bit of a reorganisation and lighting rethink

It's all the rage, and I've got a lot of free time on my hands, so I went for it!

This little Firebird is nearly 5! Just a few more days to go.

Gone are those slight baby curls... now, a little taller and definitely, a real little charmer with his choice of words!

He is attending his first year at school!

Never does he ever fail to amuse me in someway.

Forever, the snug bug and the most awesome hug giver... a little clown on fire!

Digging up the past and living with it.

Cosy home office and library. This unit is built in place by Custom Carpentry in London especially to fit this space perfectly.

This unit was built in Fulham, London for someone who works from home.

As with every move, I'm prioritizing the bookshelves. Now, thanks to inadequate cabinetry and a tall toddler, we have to accommodate some kitchenware, too.

I have even more books now. This photo was taken several months ago. I have three bookshelves and a side table where I keep my books. Books I check out from the public library are kept on my desk in a stack. Some time I'll give a more extensive tour.

Viewing All Sizes provides a lot more detail. AND I have a blog entry to go with this photo here.

Slowly the library also became storage

Nearly did not make it, I had a few idea for this theme, but have been so hectic trying to get sorted for two birthday parties and with work, I could not get out to get the shot I intended, my daughter agreed to help me out though!
