Introduction

Single phase WiFi energy meter (WEM3080) is a Din rail, bi-directional, Wi-Fi energy meter/Wi-Fi electricity monitor. It is highly integrated power meter with Wi-Fi module embedded, which measures the data, such as single-phase AC voltage, current, power etc, and transmits them to cloud via WiFi network.

 

WEM3080T can be connected to our online energy monitoring system-Iammeter(www.iammeter.com/) by one-key setup. With that, you can easily track, monitor and analyze your energy consumption in your home, company or factory in real-time. If you have a solar PV system, this meter can also help track the entire energy flow of the system. The system tells how much energy your solar system is producing, how much excessive energy are exporting to the grid or how much your loads are consuming from grid or your solar system.

 

With open API, you can monitor the data locally via LAN or upload the data to your own server.

Introduction

Three phase WiFi energy meter (WEM3080T) is a Din rail, three phase Wi-Fi Energy Meter/Wi-Fi Electricity Monitor. It can be easily installed and fit neatly inside your electricity panel, and provides insight into your energy consumption and analysis through our dedicated Online Energy Consumption Monitoring System (www.iammeter.com/) and Android/IOS app. With our cloud service, you can easily understand your electricity bill and get timely alert when the total energy consumption in a month reaches a preset value.

It is highly-integrated power meter with Wi-Fi module embedded, which measures the data, such as AC voltage and current of each phase, active power, total energy, and report them to the cloud in every minute. This is a simple demo of integrating the bi-directional Wi-Fi Energy meter to Home-Assistant system,

2.1 Install HA software

Install the latest version of Home Assistant (0.107.0.dev20200310 or later version)

2.2 Configuration

 

To use the Iammeter sensors in your installation, add the following to your configuration.yaml file:

Tips: You can find your meter and check its host IP address by double clicking its icon in the network of your PC which is connected to the same home Wi-Fi network

2.3 Find your meter in HA

Restart the server management and reconnect to it, then you will see the entity of the meter if the meter is already connected to the Internet.

Introduction

The WEM3080T is a bi-directional, din rail, three phase Wi-Fi Energy Meter which can be used to monitor 3 phase 4 wire system(WYE connection) .

It is a highly integrated 3 phase energy meter with a Wi-Fi module embedded, which measures the voltage, current, active power(bi-directional), forward energy, and reverse energy of each phase.

 

It can report the energy data to the cloud service(IAMMETER or your own cloud service ) by Wi-Fi.

Key Features

Bi-directional: both forward energy (from-grid) and reverse energy (to-grid) in each phase of this 3 phase energy meter can be monitored simultaneously. This feature is especially useful in solar PV monitoring.

 

Split phase : this three-phase energy meter can be used as three single-phase energy meters.

 

Net energy metering: this 3 phase energy meter supports both normal metering mode and net energy metering mode.

1. Introduction

HomeAssistant (www.home-assistant.io/) is an open source home automation system. Our WiFi energy meter (WEM3080/WEM3080T) can be integrated with HomeAssistant system.

 

2. Integrate with HomeAssistant

2.1 Install HA software

Install the latest version of Home Assistant (0.107.0.dev20200310 or later version)

2.2 Configuration

To use the Iammeter sensors in your installation, add the following to your configuration.yaml file:

Tips: You can find your meter and check its host IP address by double clicking its icon in the network of your PC which is connected to the same home Wi-Fi network

 

2.3 Find your meter in HA

Restart the server manangement and reconnect to it, then you will see the entity of the meter if the meter is already connected to the internet.

OSMC немного отличается от raspbian, и пакет gpiozero установился только после следующих действий

 

Я хотел управлять вентилятором raspberry, на которой крутится kodi, через home assistant. Нашел на гитхабе небольшую инструкцию, но пакет gpiozero при установке выдавал кучу ошибок. На англоязычных форумах по osms вычитал, что предварительно нужно установить пакет wheel.

Follow this guide if you already are running a supported virtual machine hypervisor. If you are not familiar with virtual machines we recommend installation Home Assistant OS directly on a Raspberry Pi or an ODROID.

  

CREATE THE VIRTUAL MACHINE

  

Load the appliance image into your virtual machine hypervisor. (Note: You are free to assign as much resources as you wish to the VM, please assign enough based on your add-on needs).

  

Minimum recommended assignments:

  

- 2 GB RAM

  

- 32 GB Storage

  

- 2vCPU

  

All these can be extended if your usage calls for more resources.

  

HYPERVISOR SPECIFIC CONFIGURATION

Vmware Workstation

  

1. Create a new virtual machine

  

2. Select Type “Linux” and Version “Linux 2.6 / 3.x / 4.x (64-bit)”

  

3. Select “Use an existing virtual hard disk file”, select the unzipped VDI file from above

  

4. Edit the “Settings” of the VM and go “System” then “Motherboard” and select “Enable EFI”

  

5. Then go to “Network” “Adapter 1” choose “Bridged Adapter” and choose your Network adapter.

  

Please keep in mind that the bridged adapter only functions over a hardwired ethernet connection. Using Wi-Fi on your VirtualBox host is unsupported.

  

6. Then go to “Audio” and choose “Intel HD Audio” as Audio Controller.

  

By default VirtualBox does not free up unused disk space.
