Another angle of the finished countertop. I bought "in stock" laminate from Lowes to save a few bucks. Ryon, Alex and I cut the backsplash off and trimmed them down to size. A little bit of chaulk and some paint...done.

All the cabinets are in. As you can see--no trim around the doors. We had the french door custom made to 36" to go between our bedroom and the office.

John built everything with as little help as he could get away with. After the crew with the concrete truck went away, John was back to his normal way of proceeding and laid the block for the foundation by himself.
