Macro Mondays theme: currency
Canadian $50 features, on the front, a portrait of William Lyon Mackenzie King, the coat of arms, and a picture of the Peace Tower of the Parliament buildings.
The area surrounding the iridescent is transparent.
The Macro Mondays theme for this week is EDC, every day carry. My new permanent driver’s license arrived on Friday so it seemed an appropriate possibility. Since my bag/purse is sort of minimal, there probably won’t be a gazillion possibilities this week. (Interestingly, if you turn the hologram slightly, my initials and birth year show upon the bird’s body.)
Btw, am wondering what type of bird this depicts and if hologram caused you to look at your license to see if yours has a hologram?
Btw2, this hologram is 1.9cm by 2.1cm

And I'll never go home again.
Favorite friend (and nothing's wrong when nothing's true).
I live in a hologram with you.

Blogged about the delightful and extremely useful The Manual: Second Life edition : npirl.blogspot.com/2009/05/cubist-scarborough-and-manual-... - Every newbie AND oldbie should have one.
When I approached my coffee machine this morning, I saw these layered shadows displayed in front of the machine. Even though the shadows had depth, tonality and wonderful form, they were displayed on a flat surface, in only 2 dimensions. I felt as if I was viewing a hologram. Of course, my camera came to hand and eye.

The second in my series showcasing different planets under control of the Empire. This build went through quite a few different stages, originally it was all tree, then mostly tree and a bit of beach, then after watching the Jedi: Fallen Order Gameplay trailer which showcased a Sap mining facility on Kashyyyk with Wookie Slaves which influenced the left side of the build, as i worked from right to left on this build.

Watching the show, I always got the impression that Jem's secret identity had no actual reason to exist, and was just a pretext to crazy episodes and drama, and to turn Rio insane! lol
But I still like that well-behaved and uptight Jerrica can turn into a glamourous superstar and have tons of fun, doing what she would never normally do.
It totally makes her like a kind of drag queen, with 2 different personas ;)
I remember back in the day Jem would play on the USA network in the mornings and I would be mesmerized by her. She was so cool. And I loved singing along to her songs.
A hologram was a three-dimensional visual projection of an object or data, most commonly including maps, technical plans or other information. The type and quality of the holographic image projected varied widely, and holograms could be static or moving, live or recorded, with or without sound, large or small, and colored or monochrome. Many of these attributes were determined by the quality of the original recording or broadcast, as well as the holoprojector being used to display it.
Holograms were used for many different purposes, including entertainment, military planning, or political speeches, and as such touched the lives of nearly every being in the galaxy. Members of the Jedi High Council dispatched to missions on remote worlds could regularly participate in Council meetings held at the Jedi Temple by appearing as holograms.
