Fantastic Halloween party held at the Kansas City Power & Light district. Costume winner (Edward Scissorhands) won $5K. Predator came in second.. but I feel was denied :) That is a handmade costume from hell!! So much fun, this was our second year.
This is my all time FAVORITE crossover couple. They'd be SO cute together. Plus, they're kids would be so messed up xD
PS: if you don't know who they are, the girl is Marnie from the Halloweentown series, and the guy is Max from Hocus Pocus
This is a nook I found in an old cottage. Kinda liked the feeling of it. Went for the natural look and did it with 3 flashes and some ps hocuspocus

Written in 1584 by Reginald Scot, the book Discoverie of Witchcraft was published with the intent to debunk superstitious claims that people were performing unnatural magic, by using sorcery or with help from the devil. Scot included a chapter that explains how many mysterious illusions were slight of hand tricks performed by magicians, and goes on to explain how many of the deceptions could be duplicated. Ironically, his explanations inspired many magicians to print their own magic books, ensuring the development of magic for the next century.
Harry Houdini also wrote a book debunking mystics and psychics, explaining how many of their feats were simple parlor tricks.
See The Discoverie of Witchcraft in Magic! a new exhibition exploring the history of this secret art with fascinating artifacts and mesmerizing live performances.
