A lone NJ Transit locomotive engineer slowly walk toward its assigned locomotive as an Hoboken-bound train approaching the bumper post at the end of track 9.

Ill could have watched the late afternoon activities for hours inside the fascinating Hoboken Terminal if I had the time to.

HOB 1 Hydrangea Petals Abstract

Not quite a Yves Klein IKB 79 (IKB stands for International Klein Blue) a distinctive ultramarine which Klein registered as a trademark colour in 1957. He considered that this colour had a quality close to pure space and he associated it with immaterial values beyond what can be seen or touched. IKB 79 was one of nearly two hundred blue monochrome paintings Yves Klein made during his short life.

Here's IKB 79 which hangs in the Tate Gallery

Yves Klein (28 April 1928 – 6 June 1962) was a French artist considered an important figure in post-war European art. He is the leading member of the French artistic movement of Nouveau réalisme founded in 1960 by art critic Pierre Restany. Klein was a pioneer in the development of performance art, and is seen as an inspiration to, and as a forerunner of, minimal art, as well as pop art.

THE WORLD OF HOB

Hob is an indie adventure game that tells its story through interaction with the environment rather than through dialogue. We chose this game as the basis of our theme because of the unique artstyle and atmosphere that the game has, and believe that its enthralling visuals will cultivate creativity and give us plenty of room to experiment.

The Hob Nob is part of the Wisconsin old school supper club scene. This is one of those IYKYK things.

A step into this restaurant is a step back to an era where the Rat Pack was alive and dressing for a dinner out was still a thing.

This photo is HDR, shot with my trusty T1i and edited with Canon's DPP, Photomatix and finalized with Gimp.

The shooting was done around 2016 and is my style it is a bit cartoony. If I were to do it today, I'd likely make it more tame yet vivid (sort of like the funeral home shot I posted earlier).

Hobby's Motoplay model garage equipment set including two Esso petrol pumps, oil cabinet and forecourt sign, a plastic tyre rack inspired, I suspect, by the Dinky original, and a plastic inspection ramp in a similar style to earlier diecast ones. The ramp is a smaller scale and is shown here with a Matchbox Lamborghini Miura.

Here are some later acquisitions including a petrol pump island, as well as BP and Shell pumps: www.flickr.com/photos/adrianz-toyz/54934148000
