Gestern war gleichzeitig schönes Wetter und ich hatte Urlaub, zwei selten zusammen fallende Ereignisse.
Außerdem mogelte sich mit 296 047, einer Bergziegen 90er seit langem Mal wieder eine schöne Lokomotive in die seit 2021 mit Gravita verkehrenden Umläufe der Übergabe nach Niedermarschacht.
Diese Rarität musste natürlich bildlich festgehalten werden, auch wenn sich die Reise mit dem ÖPNV an diese Piste (3h-Takt, Ausfall Rufbus) als äußerst beschwerlich herausstellen sollte.
So röhrte 296 047 mit ihren zwei Kesselwagen am Fotografen, welcher sich beim Raiffeiisen in Oldershausen platzierte, vorbei.

The Mark V was introduced in 1986 all cars now had 8.4-inch (210 mm) brake discs and plastic wheel arches (mini special arches) but retained the same Mark IV body shell shape. The Mini had dropped out of the Top Ten selling cars in Britain in 1981 and was now being produced in much smaller numbers and a number of limited edition models were launched throughout its latter years.
The Mini Mayfair
The Mayfair was launched in 1982 as part of the London Collection, limited edition models, The other models in the series were produced in very limited numbers often for only a few months, but the Mayfair was to continue through to 1996. The Mayfair was based on the Mini City and came with either 998cc or 1275cc engines , produced in various colours with coloured grille, door handles, bumpers, door mirrors, plastic wheel arch extensions and sill finishers, chrome from 1992. Silver plastic wheel covers along with coachlines and Mayfair decals, the interior also in various colours with seats and door cards in Chalk stripe velor (1985–1988), Prism velor (1988–1991), Chevron velor (1992–1994), Windsor velor (1995–1996) the cars have 12 inch wheels with alloy options after 1984, opening rear side windows, radio, head restraints, locking fuel cap, tinted glass, tachometer, front disc brakes from 1984, brake servo from 1988.
The other models in the London Collection were Mini Ritz (January 1984) 2,000 for UK, 1,725 for export from Italy. The Mini Chelsea (February 1986) production 1,500 for UK, more exported Mini Piccadilly (May 1986) production 2500. Mini Park Lane (January 1987) production 4000 (1500 for UK, 700 Japan). The Mini Advantage also known as The Mini Masters in Germany (June 1987) production 4675 (2500 for UK)

Departing after a lengthy takeoff roll bound for one of the airline's many regional destinations.
B-HNM was delivered to Cathay in Oct 2003, was stored between Aug 2020 & Oct 2023 & is expected to return to service.
SJ70 HNM is a Volvo B8RLE/MCV Evora new as Lothian Buses number 76 in January 2021.
It is one of 30 purchased new by Lothian and is seen here on Nicholson Street operating service 30 (Clovenstone-Musselburgh).

MCV Volvo B8RLE / eVoRa number 76 (SJ70 HNM) passes Longstone depot on a sunny Monday morning.
Fleet numbers 66 to 95 have been allocated to this fleet of thirty, with the return of near-side number positioning above the entrance door.
