Group: Macro Mondays
Theme: Tape
A tape measure from the garage and a tape from my wife's sewing / quilting room seemed like a good combination for this week's theme. I'm calling this "His and Her's".
HMM!
Oh, Iron Photographer. What strangeness you bring to my photography.

Theirs was a 'love story' that took place during World War II. Upon completing his Coast Guard service in the Aleutians, one handsome Georgia boy rushed home to take one lovely Pennsylvania girl as his bride. They were married in September of 1945. This remained constant till she passed in Oct. of last year. They were married 73 years. Now she rests in the Sarasota National Cemetery till he, one day, will join her.
They wrote many happy chapters in their lifetime storybook. These are their wedding rings. They are my parents.

Not to be confused with Breezy Badger, this is our divvying up of an early Xmas present: a new network drive.
My hubby had been saying how badly his(black) needed a bath, so since he was so sweet and threw me a surprise bithday party yesterday, I went out and washed his and my truck(red) it needed one as well. I just thought they looked pretty good when I was all done.

i thought that both logan and i would need lunch today, but it turned out that he didn't work and i had to work remotely while they swapped a dead drive at work. all the prep work from the night before was still pretty and delicious.
I typed in twitter earlier today that jumping straight into Monday is like bring through into an ice cold pool; your body will need time to get over the shock.
I guess it doesn't make it any worse that the world witnessed a sobering weekend with earthquakes and tsunamis being thrown into the mix. And now, when the news seems to be coupling the words 'Japan' and 'nuclear reactors' in the same sentence, you wonder when Godzilla is going to appear.
While most of you try to recover from the coldness of my attempt at a funny, I decided to give something warm and bright to the world this cold Monday.
This is just a sneak peek at the shoot I did a couple weeks back. I am only going to show most of it after their wedding. But from what you can see from here, you can tell it has glitter, sunshine and a whole lotta amazingness.
Can't wait till your wedding, Ade.
