I remember going with someone over to the Wellington Destructor near this spot to check out the building as word online was it was accessible. It wasn't, but we saw Stan who lived in the incinerator and his cats. We walked around and found this old garage under demolition. It was the first active demolition site I checked out with a freshly reassembled shit fish eye, a Zenit 16 that sheared apart at another location the week before.

This spot wasn't super interesting, but I'm still a sucker for a building with no roof 17 years later.

Was not originally going to share this here, as it's a hard crop, but what a scene. Mom in red high heels and that outfit just hanging off the back of the motorbike while Pop's drives with their daughter navigating.

A variety of linens and cotton/linen blends the back (no photo) is an aquamarine kona

I was surprised how well cared he had his large beard... and decided to immortalize it

The hipster culture is a subculture of middle-upper-class young bohemians who are usually settled in neighborhoods experiencing gentrification processes. They are associated with indie and alternative musical tendencies, in a fashion away from the predominant currents, based more on the independent (that includes vintage articles), progressive political positions (of lefts communist, radical or conservative), to the consumption of organic foods and Handmade products and second-hand clothing. It is characterized by a varied sensitivity, away from the predominant cultural currents (mainstream) and related to alternative lifestyles.

Hipster derives from the word "hip." In the 1940s, jazz musicians used the word "hip" to describe any connoisseur of the emerging African American subculture, which included jazz knowledge. The members of this subculture were called "hepcats", a term that was later transformed into the word hípster. The first dictionary to list this word was the small glossary For characters who do not dig jive talk (the term jive refers to the jargon of jazz musicians), published in 1944 along with the album Boogie Woogie In Blue by pianist Harry Gibson, who acted as Harry the Hipster. The entry about the hipsters defined them as 'people who like hot jazz and the boogie woogie, a genre to which Gibson leaned at the moment of being called hipster'. Being a subculture, this term embraces different conceptions that generalize the way to call the social movements of intellectual character of century XX on.

In the book Jazz Scene (1959) by Eric Hobsbawm (using the pseudonym Francis Newton) describes the children as owners of a language of their own, everywhere..... "People of a special spirituality..............¿...?"

Where is the unicorn?

I wasn’t too crash hot on Hipster Elf Blaine wearing those glasses since they covered up a lot of his nice screening so tonight I got some spare flowers I used for another project to make him a flower crown. Since the flowers used wire it was easy enough to twist them into a chain and yeah.

So now he has something to keep his hair out of the way lol.

So when the L train finally arrived, I walk in and sit... and first thing I notice is these two guys (apparently strangers, as the black guy is reading and the other is just people watching). Very hipster-ish outfits and looks...

So there I go... and snap their photo. Across, sitting at my left, there was a black girl, also a bit hipster... who saw me taking the image and gave me quite a look, but didn't say anything...

A few minutes later, it turns out the THREE OF THEM were together... and the girl told them something in French and they started talking (probably about me, as the two guys looked at me briefly while the conversation was going on).

Hey, if you don't want your picture taken, don't be calling attention with those looks, boys!!! :-))))
