I have been so down about photography. It's become a stress for me lately with this 52 week project trying to think of concepts because of school. I need it to end......bleh. But I am actually really considering starting a 365 day project.

Today was the seniors last day. A day for them to try to leave their last mark at the highschool. A day of bitter sweetness. It's funny how once you leave you become forgotten..like when someone dies everyone goes back to their daily lives with just a memory of them in your heart. I'm going to miss these seniors. They brought so much life to the school and it's going to be dead without them their, but then there will be new seniors & they will leave again until it's my turn to leave. I just wonder how I can live these next 3 years up because time flies no matter how much I like it or not. Time goes by. People move on. People will forget you. But there will always be memories. Farewell, seniors. Your life is filled with so much happiness & those days are only ahead of you. :)

A lone student on a corridor in a middle-school, South Central, Los Angeles during the making of a documentary I directed called 'Reaching'. It had a nice eerie mood to it. One of the most edgy locations I've ever shot in...During the shoot there was a 'lock-down' - which meant locking all the students into the school because there was a shooting in the neighborhood a few blocks away. Not an uncommon occurrence. God love the poor pre-teens who had to walk in there every day. And the staff...That being said - the Headmaster we interviewed was one of the most inspiring people I've ever met.
