A million mighty laws that never cease;

And one small ant-heap, hidden by small weeds,

Rich with eggs, slaves and store of millet-seeds.

They sleep beneath the sod

And trust in God.

They don't have to be the Winter Blahs-- They can be pretty Winter Blues! Like this lake scene taken from a high, overlooking perspective :))

Our planet holds beauty from many different perspectives. When I am flying during the day, I request a window seat and shoot pics along the way. This was from a trip to Las Vegas this week.

Had a great time up in Portland. Got a suite on the top floor of the Hyatt that had a a huge private balcony overlooking Old Port Portland and Casco Bay. The view was incredible, I'm pretty sure one of the best you can get in the city. Worked with some rather harsh light on this one, but I was able to pull down a white screen in a 12 foot long window to the left of the frame that worked pretty nice as a reflector.

Severn Inn, Severn River, at least its a different perspective. And I really don't mind the barrel distortion. I think that it adds a nice skew to the image. Shot from the Naval Academy Bridge on what turned out to be a decent rise. Just wish that I woke up at 430am as planned. What made the morning worse, is that I made my buddy, Reggie, wait. Not only did I miss out on something new, so did Reggie.

A bustling urban scene in Bangkok showcases a busy road with numerous cars, flanked by tall buildings and a skytrain traveling along an elevated track above. The scene's vibrant cityscape and dynamic movement highlight the interplay between urban infrastructure and transportation.
