Science Festival 2017 ran from 1–16 April, inviting you to Get Connected… to science, to one another and to the global community, as we attempt to secure the sustainable future we want to inhabit.

The programme featured over 270 events across 29 venues in and around Edinburgh, including over 250 speakers from all corners of the globe. Over the Festival we issued 28,000 tickets and welcomed 150,000 visitors.

Highlights included interactive exhibition Play On at the National Museum of Scotland, a new drop-in science space for families at Summerhall, The Experimentarium, and a very special concert by Public Service Broadcasting at the Usher Hall to celebrate Yuri's Night.

The 2017 Edinburgh International Science Festival was powered by EDF Energy.
