her gaze cuts through the soft morning haze like a whispered secret. the air glows pale and diffused, yet every detail — from the glint of the ring to the shape of her silence — sharpens in its own quiet light. this is the kind of moment you don’t hear coming, only feel as it leaves something behind.
Definitely one of my favorite images to date.

Though I appreciate comments, please don't drop those stupid-looking badges or awards...They are always ugly and tell me that you were too lazy to type anything meaningful.
Ahhh, lili now owes me like a million photoshoots... and I'm using the holidays to collect ;-)
The vintage roses were kindly donated by the wonderful Vaneet from White Lotus Flowers
I think this is one of my all time fave shots!
Hope everyone is happy and healthy x x x

there's gonna be a few portraits going up for a bit, as the weather here is a bit crap so i've been practising with strobes, reflectors and retouching, in the warm, dry, indoors.
this one was done a couple of weeks back, before the turn in the weather. it has such a different feel from the studio ones.
anyway, hope you're all having a great week!
sorry all if i'm a bit MIA today, just feeling a bit icky... head cold, but it doesn't seem to be helping my asthma any so having a bit of a go slow day.
feel free to check out my FB page (the link just below) for lots of kitten shots and extra shots from this shoot... you can click the 'LIKE' whilst you're there... if you want ;-)
first love #2
they say it's all about the eye contact.
got a new lens today... a 1st gen lensbaby, for the princely sum of £5... i just feel like i've robbed someone ;-)
gonna have to post some shots of the new kittens soon too... they're 2 weeks old now and just adorable.
this is the first in a little series that i'm doing, called first love. it's all about a young girl, who likes a boy. he's sent her flowers and she's off to meet him on their first ever date.
been MIA for ages, taking a break, after finishing my 365 project. have had loads of ideas... now it's time to start making them a reality.
and i hope you'll all say a big congrats to lili who, after 2 years, finally got her braces off.
she's got such a pretty smile
They say "life begins at 40"... i say "bring it on!!!"
this is a composite done using the flowers, my hubby gave me for our anniversary. it's then been photoshopped to within an inch of its life ;-D
hope you're all having an awesome weekend!
